onemoonlight Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 so i was just wondering - is it normal that we get twice the ammo on a single pistol while carrying data, compared to someone that's using a non-akimbo version?
BlastGoggles Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Modeling shortcut I'm guessing. Maybe carrying a pack could downgrade you to a single version of the weapon?
arune Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 You're still using akimbo pistols with data unit, it just shows only one of them.
onemoonlight Posted April 24, 2013 Author Posted April 24, 2013 how about carrying a datapack on your back then? :3
WingsOfGryphin Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 how about carrying a datapack on your back then? :3 ^ THIS! Sick of using Secondary just because i'm carrying data mass. It's pain in the &#! at high levels, while you are carrying crappy pistol and random secondary objective related to data mass appears.
contractkiller4 Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 how about carrying a datapack on your back then? :3 This also fixes the whole disappearing data mass when you melee.
AvinJingzu Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 It also seems like a smart thing to do. lets face it, you either run a lot, in which case I wouldn't want to be unbalanced by a large container like that so putting on my back seems like the way to go. Or you want both hands free so you can use your primary weapon. Now we can try to assume game balance and making things harder for the players (or more interesting XD) or we can assume that someone may have gotten lazy. Now as Someone who runs AkLato the issue I've noticed is that I'm retaining my entire ammo pool and only using one gun of the two... yeah about that... I'm not shooting 15 from one gun then switching to the other gun I have. All thirty bullets are coming out of the barrel of 1 gun that can only hold 15... well lets not include the fun issue of multishot as well. So yes, something is funny with that but there are times when the not needing to reload has saved me more than once.
Playbeyond Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 The easiest solution would be get a better pistol but carrying it on back would mack it more appealing visually as there are several bugs while carrying it in hand.
