Need Some Help With Brakk Farming!

So I have been trying for some time to get my hands on a brakk to add to my arsenal but not having much luck.  I have read a number of other threads on the topic but there are a few things that I want clarification on so that I know that I am doing things correctly.

 

Do you only obtain marks when an invasion completes? I have done the 5 missions you need to get the reward for it when it finishes but do not receive a message from vay hek telling me I am marked.  

Can you farm invasions for multiple marks? If I was to run the same invasion say 20 times in an effort to get 4 marks, does that work, or do you have to run different unrelated invasions?  What I am asking is can I just run the same invasion all day to earn as many marks as I can in that time and hopefully run into the g3 mid mission?

What effect does lower level gear have on their spawn chance? Has it been determined how much of a difference gear makes?

Any other tips you could give me would be very appreciated! Been after a brakk for some time now and only need a reciever but the last 3 times they have turned up its just neurodes and 1-2 rare mods =(

After 5 invasions against greneer you should have it. More than often you don't recieve an email but the marks appear anyway. Just check your profile.

No. 1 mark per player and after killing the G3 only 1 player in the party loses it.

It's a rumor that will probably never die. (And i don't understand what it takes to DE to spend 5 minutes telling us if it's true or not)

Be patient because it will take a lot of time, also depending on how much you play. Some people got the whole Brakk after 4 months, some other after 2 weeks, etc. But know that the chance is extremely low and it WILL be frustrating to say the least. Always bring 2 nekros, avoid Corrosion damage when you kill them and before desecrating try to cut them as much as possible with melee

I get that if everyone in a party is marked (4 marks total) you only lose one when the g3 turn up (the player that causes the spawn).  Im just curious if as a single player you can earn multiple marks as in having more then one at the same time.  I have heard that this does happen and was wondering if you can just farm the same invasion mission 100s of times to get as many marks as possible.  I run ceres kiste alot so Id like to get marked several times and then just carry on with my normal routine with the added bonus of the g3 turning up more often.

As i already said: No, 1 mark per player. You can obtain a new mark only if an attack occur and you lose yours. If by multiple mark you mean also from other asassins then yes, you can have at the same time 1 stalker, 1 g3 and 1 zanuka

As far as I know you can not have more than 1 mark from the G3 at a time. Doing invasion missions over and over will not increase your chance of them spawning, and when they do spawn you will lose your mark and have to do 5 new invasions to be marked again, meaning that one invasion that you did 100 times didnt matter.

Ah well that clears things up a bit.  Wont waste my time running endless invasions in the vain hope of making them spawn more often =(
