bejuizb
Hey everyone, this is a concept I penned out a very long time ago, but never got around to finishing until now. This is Snow. She is the female counterpart to Frost, but she has not much similarity to Frost apart from the mastery over ice and snow. She is meant to be a close quarters fighter, with all her abilities being tools to augment that playstyle. She is not a tank, but she could be used to decent effect for melee only runs. I've taken the liberty to provide some stats for her abilities and provide the stats after maximization as well. Feel free to provide feedback on the numbers themselves. In no way am I particularly good at numbercrafting, and any feedback regarding the matter would be appreciated. Stats Health: 100 Shield: 100 Armour: 100 Movement speed: 1.00 Energy: 100 Stamina: 150 Polarities: One Madurai (V) and one Vazarin (D) Abilities Cold Snap Cold Snap: Snow releases a concentrated burst of icy air in a cone in front of her, drastically slowing enemies and increasing vulnerability to cold damage. Snow can stay mobile during the casting of this ability. All enemies inside the cone during the casting of the ability Damage: 50/100/150/200 Cost: 25 energy Range: 6m Cone Width (max): 15m Slow Percentage: 20/40/60/80% Cold Damage Bonus: 15/30/45/60% Debuff duration: 6s Cast duration (cannot be changed): 1.5s Maximization Strength: Strength mods do not affect this ability.Increases cost to 38.75 energy Decreases debuff duration to 4.35s Duration: Duration mods increase the debuff duration to 15.42sCone width is reduced to 5.1m Cone range is reduced to 2.7m Range: Increases cone width (max) to 35.25m Increases cone range to 14.1m Decreases damage to 20/40/60/80 Efficiency: Decreases ability cost to 6.25 energy Decreases debuff duration to 2.4s Purpose of this ability: The goal for Cold Snap is to allow Snow to initiate combat with her close quarters abilities. The debuff is intended to slow down enemies to the point where she can really begin to go toe to toe with them. Therefore, when faced with multiple targets, she can sweept he battlefield with Cold Snap, and debuff them, leaving her free to use other abilities to combo with the debuff. Glacial Spike Glacial Spike: Snow impales a single target with a large spike of ice. The target is stunned for 3 seconds and takes constant bleed damage. After 3 seconds, the spike explodes, dealing Cold damage to all enemies surrounding the target, stunning them for 1.5 seconds and dealing 33% the damage dealt to the first target. All secondary targets are knocked down from the blast. If the first target is killed from the blast or from the bleed damage, the explosion radius is doubled. If another enemy within the initial target's explosion radius is hit with the ability, they will not explode, but will take the spike and bleed damage as per usual. Cost: 50 energy Spike Damage: 50/100/150/200 Stun duration (cannot be changed): 3s Bleed damage per tick (6 ticks maximum): 25/50/75/100 Explosion damage: 100/200/300/400 Explosion range (default): 10m Maximization Strength: Increases Spike damage to : 142/284/426/568 Increases Bleed damage tick to: 71/142/ 213/284 Increases Explosion damage to: 284/568/852/1136 Increases cost to 77.5 energy Duration: Duration mods do not affect this ability Decreases explosion range to 3.4m Range: Increases explosion range to: 23.5m Decreases Spike damage to: 20/40/60/80 Decreases Bleed tick to: 10/20/30/40 Decreases explosion damage to: 40/80/120/160 Efficiency: Decreases cost to 12.5 energy Purpose of this ability: This ability is Snow's primary damage and CC ability. Once slowed and debuffed with Cold Snap, she can impale the highest value target in a clump of enemies and deal heavy damage while stunning them, with the added benefit of having crowd control 3 seconds after this ability has been used. With Cold Snap's damage bonus, Glacial Spike has the potential of dealing absolutely horrendous amounts of damage. It is quite obvious that Cold damage is not a strong damage type following the advent of Damage 2.0, but with the right set up, you're looking at damage numbers upwards of 1000 damage with ease, which is comparable to most ultimates in the game. The debuff of Cold Snap lasts for 3 seconds, therefore, to maximize single target damage, she can use Cold Snap on a priority target and use Glacial Spike. On the flipside, she can use Glacial Spike and then use Cold Snap on a crowd of enemies surrounding the stunned target to have the debuff last longer than the explosion of Glacial Spike, increasing her possible damage and burst after the ability has been used. Crystal Matrix Crystal Matrix: Snow encases herself in crystalline shards of ice, granting her increased defenses while doing damage to all enemies that get in contact with her. She gains increased melee damage during the duration of this ability, and regenerates health slowly. She loses movement speed for the duration of this ability. Cost: 50 energy Duration: 10s Damage Reduction: 5/10/15/20% Health regen: 2HP/s Contact damage range: 0.5m Contact damage/second: 50/100/150/200 Bleed Proc chance (cannot be changed): 8/16/24/32% Movement speed debuff (cannot be changed): 8/16/24/32% Maximization Strength: Increases Damage Reduction to: 14.2/28.4/42.6/56.8% Increases contact damage/s to: 142/284/426/568 Decreases Duration to: 7.25s Increases cost to: 77.5 energy Duration: Increases Duration to: 25.7s Decreases contact damage range to: 0.17m Range: Increases contact damage range to: 1.175m Decreases contact damage/s to: 30/60/90/120 Decreases damage reduction to: 2/4/6/8% Efficiency: Decreases cost to: 12.5 energy Decreases Duration to: 4s Purpose of this ability: This ability is Snow's defensive ability, perfect for focusing on whittling down single targets, while being focused on by multiple enemies. She gains significant defenses, but nowhere near the levels achievable by Valkyr or Rhino, implying that she isn't meant to be a pure tank, but rather a hybrid brawler-esque Warframe. This ability can be used to passively regen health during non-combat moments, and actively used to escape or absorb heavy fire. The ability's negative effects on movement speed serve as a major hindrance, therefore Crystal Matrix should be used in moments of need and not permanently. Razor Hail Razor Hail: Snow unleashes hundreds of shards of ice in a cyclonic vortex around her, dealing damage to enemies every tick. Enemies are progressively weakened as they take damage and Snow gains a movement and shield bonus while this ability is active. Does stack with mods that improve movement speed and shield values. The weakness debuff lasts for a short duration, during which they take bonus damage. Cost: 100 Damage per tick (1 tick/s): 75/150/225/300 Duration: 10s Range: 15m Movement speed bonus: 20% Shield bonus: 35% Ticks for maximum debuff: 8s Debuff duration (after application): 5s Bonus damage taken (cannot be changed): 15% Maximization Strength: Increases damage/tick to: 138/426/639/852 Increases cost to: 155 energy. Decreases duration to: 7.25s Increases Shield bonus to: 99.4% Increases movement speed bonus to: 56.8% Decreases debuff duration to: 3.625s Duration: Duration mods do not affect this ability. Decreases range to 5.1m Range: Increases maximum range to: 35.25m Decreases damage/tick to: 30/60/90/120 Decreases Shield bonus to: 14% Decreases movement speed bonus to: 8% Efficiency: Decreases cost to: 25 energy Decreases duration to: 4s Decreases debuff duration to: 2s Purpose of this ability: Razor Hail is supposed to be Snow's mobility + sustained damage tool. The shards of ice allow her to shred enemies close to her, while granting her enough bonuses to keep moving and stay away from enemy fire. Unlike Cold Snap, Razor Hail has no crowd control potential, but it does has good damage per tick and the bonus damage debuff at the end. The goal of this ability to facilitate an ultimate that does not clear a room instantaneously, but rather in a gradual manner. Because of it's short range, Snow needs to stay on her toes, and use the damage/tick to augment the damage she throws out as well, to ensure maximum survivability. Overall outlook: Snow is designed to be a close quarters mage, keeping company to Ember Prime, but being the mistress of the opposite element. She has significantly damaging abilities, all of which are heavily reliant on range, and she possesses several buffs and debuffs that she can apply to both herself and the enemies to change the sway of the battlefield. Snow may not be the queen of CC or the queen of damage, but she finds a comfortable spot between both. I'd greatly appreciate any sort of feedback for this concept, as well as any changes or suggestions people might like to see. Keep in mind that the design was something I made a year ago, and it was based off the design philosophy for Warframes during that period as well. I believe I designed her as a response to that very statement, if I remember correctly. Thanks! Glad you liked the design!
billthebetta
I like the design, abilites, and hell, I always like cold/ice based stuff. (also, love the names you came up with for the abilities) I might raise her base sprint speed above 1, but not by much. Also, hate to say it, but with one cold/ice frame existing I don't see this having a chance. But I really do like it.

I stuck to the standard movement speed because she has an innate movement speed buff with her ultimate.
