De Doesn't Understand Viver

This guy got all the points of this huge mess and perfectly summarized them on this thread, magnificent.

At the end of the day Viver is just a tool like the nerfed Warframes are, and of course the ubergrind is a synptom of something way bigger. Even if they DE nerfed these ones for sure there's gonna be something like a Viver 2/3/4 and so on and Farm Team 2/3/4 , so instead of nerfing every time the X grind location and the Y farming frames we need to get to the root of the problem and resolve it before this thing will get out of DE control.

Get my +1 and I'm sure that many other upvotes are gonna rain from the sky for the magnificent work that you did.

this last update clearly they did not.

I read lots of "please nerf viver" post prior this this update.

lots of them suggested changes in the map, spawn times, making it a survival instead. etc etc

none of those where used. they just nerfed 3 warfrmes. no one in all those "nerf viver" post said anything about nerfing warframes

Actually there was one guy, one guy in GD that suggested that, then Rebecca walks in all of the sudden and says they'll look at that particular thread, out of all.

And mind you plenty of peole told that OP nerfing the creames was a terrible idea. As for this OP I applaud you because you tackled on the problems straight (altough you forgot to add 'revert the recent nerfs' to your OP).

The OP is flawless. It's comprehensive. It's beautiful.

Rydian, you're a hero. I really hope the developers see your thread and apply the suggested changes.

Very good post Rydian!

DE, please take note.

Insurmountable obstacles diminish fun.  Nerfs often diminish fun.  What is the point of playing WF but to have fun...  all the wonderful art and shooting mechanics/weapons in WF can indeed be overshadowed by poorly thought out system design and "balancing".

Here's a concept: WarFrames are powerful and unique.  Run with it... stop flattening it out!  A co-ordinated squad of Frames should be able to overcome overwhelming odds and manipulate their enemies, not just in lore but in practice!

The assumption is that because DE hasn't taken immediate, instant action, that they must be sitting there twiddling their thumbs.  Syndicates have barely been out for a whole month yet, they can still gather data and discuss amongst themselves how best to fix to problem.  Sure, people have offered a number of solutions but they have to carefully consider what they do.  Cut the devs some slack.

So in your oppinion this last hotfix was carefully considered?

This.

THIS is how you make feedback.

Thank you.

Please send this to DE as fast as you can. U15 already angered players with the trolling possibilities of Limbo and the outrageous requirements for syndicates (not only rep wise, but also offering wise. I mean seriously, an Orokin Reactor!?) DE should undo the nerfs and possibly shut down Viver until they can figure out how to balance Syndicates.

Like they carefully considered all the ramifications of this hotfix's nerfs?  The numbers shown in the OP's post clearly show there is a problem.  This sort of analysis should have been done by DE before release.  So we are left with one of two equally upsetting conclusions:

1) They didn't run the numbers beforehand and just tossed something out to see what would happen

2) They did run the numbers and thought the were at an appropriate level

Your assumption, maybe... because the devs have taken action, one that is in fact noted in the OP, and one which misses the point completely, which is half of the reason this thread exists.

Beautifully written but I have a feeling DE doesn't care and desires punishment on the player base.  It is sad to see the community now split against the developers when previously that was not the case.  Sure there were a few rebels never pleased, but now the majority of the community is up in arms.  Looks like a rebilion is on the horizon if DE does not drop thier pride and say we messed up on this one.  Lets fix this GRIND everyone (except a few possible lunatics) hates.  Hate is the correct wording here.
