Guide To Viver New And Improved

So after the unfortunate but surely well thought out and justified nerfs in yesterdays update here is a way to efficiently farm Viver for reputation again.

It's very simple actually, pretty much the same thing we have been doing before, only with different frames.

2 Saryn with max range, max strength and efficiency Miasma

2 Trinity with max range, good strength (min duration) and efficiency Energy Vampire

Each Saryn teams up with a Trinity, at the start of the round the teams take B and C and neutralize A, this should put you in the lead. The rest of the round the teams move to just before the hallway leading to B (precise position pictured below), the other team stands in front of the door to C on the edge of the raised platform.

Enemies should spawn the same as before, the rounds will be over more quickly though, meaning you have to go up in rounds to gain any meaningful standing. This however should not be a problem with properly modded Saryns.

The rep/minute ratio is slightly lower than before.

4 rounds netting about 5.9k standing, this took around 20 minutes, meaning 295.3 standing per minute.

The best we managed before was 360 per minute, this is only a 21.9% reduction and I'm sure we'll find more efficient ways to do it.

Your turn DE.

I'm eagerly awaiting more well thought out balancing descisions from you.

You managed to find a new way to have fun?

Because standing on a point pressing 4 over and over is the greatest gameplay ever. Wasn't this the same community who a month ago said they didn't want repetitive RNG content, they wanted end game and token systems?

Didn't DE just put in an end game token system you can earn tokens for doing anything else you want at the same time?

Now we're going to react by farming one mission over and over again using the dumbest, most boring strategy we can think of while accomplishing nothing else, and in fact leaving so many mods on the ground it actually broke the game and required a performance fix?

I can't be the only sane one here.

Putting more grind points on top of the existing game isn't end game. It's the same game people have been playing for months now except now you have to grind it out some more for rep points.

A real end game would be new missions that require new mechanics etc

1) Bull. This is not something you have to 'grind' you are choosing to go grind it. You get these points for doing ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT at the same time, just by putting a sigil on. You are the one who decided to stop doing anything else and go try to farm it for a fistfull of niche mods. Go play what you enjoy and earn points slowly over time. If you enjoy nothing here, then go play another game!

NOPE - you're going to go back to Viver and press 4 until you burn out, then blame DE for making a bad game. If DE stops you from burning out doing repetitive bad gameplay by nerfing the 4 key and/or Viver, you're going to blame them for making a bad game.

PLEASE WAKE UP AND BE REASONABLE.

2) What rock are you living under that you think they haven't been putting in new missions and mechanics?

Yeah maybe you should go look at every other massively multiplayer game out there because syndicates are not end game. It's just a system to get you to replay old content. End game is challenging content for powerful characters. Not just doing the same thing we've been doing forever now with brownie points on top.

New mechanics like what? The 100% grineer aimbot that turned the game from a space ninja game to call of duty: advanced warfare 5?

Perhaps you don't know what you are supposed to do in warframe. You grind, you grind, and then you grind some more. There is nothing else to do except grind. Grind the syndicates, grind the weapons, grind the frames, grind orokin cells, grind the voids.

You must forgive us for having the mindset that the only thing to do in this game is grind, so we might as well get good at it.

I'll try to be polite. If the rep gains were reasonable, sure, I'll take running T4S and T4D and maybe a T4I for giggles and gain rep in background for an augment. Thing is, it isn't reasonable. Rep gain is absurdly low.

Rep gain is a problem. People find solutions to problems, in this case, Viver. Are they to blame for doing the most efficient mission possible or is DE to blame for making rep gains that absurdly slow? Please check this out: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/345102-de-doesnt-understand-viver/

You'll find raw numbers there.

I just got 15 standing for doing a T4 Capture! I'll be rank 4 to get useful mods in no time, right?

So let me get this straight: You say you want a hard game, but you don't want it to be too hard?

And if you are the same people complaining about too much grind, then why the hell are you grinding Viver to death?

Okay, okay. I'll agree with that. This is indeed about replaying old stuff.

Pray tell: Do you have a better idea? Or are you like the Socratic Daemon, telling people only what is wrong, never what is right, and then doing the wrong thing (grinding like there's no tomorrow) in private?
