BradKing
I might be doing it wrong, but I can't find any information on where to find it or how to build it. We have a very old dojo, with an old, ancient core and quite a few new styled rooms. edit: for clarity: I cannot actually find the room as an option when get to the dojo architect interface, ie to add a room at an open end. edit: So I found it at some point last night: it seems that if the dojo architect feels you cannot place it, it won't show it as an option, which is fine. The problem seemed to relate to older cross section exits not allowing the observatory, but now that we have some newer water feature 4-way rooms, everything will be fine :) Example pics: Nay observatory :( Yay observatory:) Edited November 20, 2014 by BradKing
StrahlTiger
It takes up a LOT of room. make sure you're building off a hallway or room with plenty of space around it.
ArchPhaeton
Yep you need a lot of space in all directions to be able to build it. Including: 4 sides and roof height (not sure if bottom as well) I remember I couldn't build mine until I extended hallways so that the Observatory would be outside the upper and lower floors footprints. You know, something like this
BradKing
Sorry, I guess I wasn't clear: it is not in my list of available rooms to build. I know about the placement issues, but I don't even get to try that, since I can't even select/find the observatory option.
