VKhaun Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 When I get stunned or otherwise temporarily incapacitated and want to shoot at my target, I tend to hold down the fire button expecting fire to resume when I am able to shoot. In most games this seems to be the case. In Warframe I must release the key and start firing again. Since the moment you can begin firing isn't immediately clear, this is disconcerting every single time. Not a big deal with my strun and gorgon now, I tend to tap the gorgon and the strun is... the strun. But when I was using the BRATON it was very annoying. If I'm holding down my mouse button and able to fire, I expect my automatic weapon to be firing. Just a minor 2¢ I wanted to put in.
GTG3000 Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 It's probably related to the way they detect keypresses and keyreleases instead of constantly checking keyboard status, methinks. There is a similar problem with sprinting, when you can't really tap it, and in some situations sprint doesn't start, and after the animation is over game proceeds to ignore the key pressed because , well, it wasn't pressed when the game was expecting it to be. I... Don't think it will get fixed.
