Synoid Gammacor Users: Have You Seen This Effect?

Everybody keeps raging on the Gammacor for being incredible weak and saying that it ought to do something to make up for its pathetic damage.

 

 

Well I was running a mission yesterday and when I killed an ancient I saw, briefly, 5 or 6 little holo-spheres orbiting the body.  I don't remember doing anything special to make that show up and it went away too quickly to screenshot or test what it was doing.  Has anybody else seen this effect? What were you doing at the time?

Well people are mainly talking about the normal Gammacor.

I've seen it on multiple occasions. Didn't link it to the gammacor before. Nonetheless, it seems like a purely visual effect, and doesn't really make it any better.

Syndicate weapons have innate Truth/Entropy/etc effects associated with them if I recall correctly. Perhaps that was it?

were you playing alone when you saw this effect or did you have teammates?

Maybe it codex scanned it?

It's either the proc or the special cosmetic effect of the Synoid Gammacor. The original has circles, while the Synoid has hexagons circling the arm.
