Holeypaladin
Just an observation, and definitely not true in every single case. Rhino is a beast of a warframe, and Mag is now weaker than Excalibur... But I've noticed that most of the more powerful warframes currently are female. As far as damage goes, the top damage dealers seem to be Mesa, Mirage, and Nova, in that order. Valkyr has so much armor and health that she doesn't need shields, and Zephyr has the highest shields+health. These warframes are all really awesome. They set the standard that I'd like to see all of the warframes buffed to.
Renegade343
Limbo is pretty powerful. I mean, energy regeneration from one skill, and also allow him a buffet choice of targets to pick to kill? That is something.
Somedude1000
I highly doubt gender has anything to do with how good the frames are, when modded and used well, any frame can be the best at certain parts of the game, it's up to the user to make them as powerful as they can be, mesa, mirage, nova and perhaps valkyr are simply the easiest frames to do that with as they require slightly less effort and commitment than some other frames do to reach their full potential, at least for now
Holeypaladin
Limbo actually disappointed me... perhaps because he's really tricky to use. To be honest it seems his cataclysm ability trolls the entire team since you can't shoot in or out of it. And when he banishes enemies and I try to kill them, obviously my bullets go right through him. He's a really interesting idea but... the way it's implemented makes it difficult to work with. Chroia
Gender roles are an interesting thing. Offense. Defense. Which would you attribute to which? Now let's think about it: Imagine a standard medieval setting. There are 2 characters holding off a band of raiders: The 'plater' holding the line and keeping the enemy's "agro", and the archer, holding back and popping heads in the safety afforded to them. We have offense and defense. We have male, female. Which is which? (Not even going to touch on the Fate/ series.) Also: Hilde. Probably my aesthetically favorite Soul Calibur character. Also also: "Would you hit a girl?" Having a female character be the one constantly taking hits is... somewhat problematic, on several levels. TheErebus.
Both have their share of powerful frames. Males:Loki, Ash, Rhino, Limbo True, females do look like they are more powerful, I consider them all equal to one another...

Alighierian
you can't buff all warframes to the 'standard' created by a frame, because it just wouldn't be possible. No matter effective or not, all frames are essentially different, so you can't 'buff' them along the same line. I do agree there are some frames which just need some more attention, but they shouldn't be buffed 'to be more like frame X or Y', that just doesn't work. Yes Having a female character be the one constantly taking hits is... somewhat problematic, on several levels. Sayrn has one of the highest EHPs in the game, Valkyr has the highest and is a Melee focused brawler frame.. How is she problematic? TheErebus.
Also also: "Would you hit a girl?" And it's not really a problem, if the character isn't weak in any sense then it's fine.

And it's not really a problem, if the character isn't weak in any sense then it's fine. Pretty much this. I would rather not feel the need to resort to hitting anyone, but if I have to I would happily hit a girl/woman. I see no way that it is different from hitting a boy/man. I see no reason at all why women can't be frontline fighters like men. I don't understand what this thread is trying to accomplish. There are a number of warframes that for whatever reason are "subpar". There are a bunch that a situationally strong or require more specialised builds. Some of these happen to be male, some female. DE can only look at so many frames at a time, I'm sure they will all get the buffs or changes they deserve.

Renegade343
And are they the exception or the rule? I do not know about you, but I also think that Mesa can take a lot of punishment with just one skill. So, the rule of "Not hitting a girl" is a bit weak in this game. Nyaughty
every frame is designed around a theme, this gives the frame some weaknesses and some strengths on certain situations, either this be offense, defense or utility and a random gendernow frames come f-m-f-m-f-n, but the theme is a fixed one, de works like "ok now we'll make a rock themed frame" and since its male time, its gonna be male, if its female turn, its gonna be female, gender has really no impact on gameplay or a frame's powers, its just random|also, since you wanted pure strength, the strongest defense frame is limbo, makes defense targets completely invulnerablethe strongest offense frame is volt, gives you like 321392136219321% bonus electic damage while protects you from enemy fireSHOW ME A STRONGER FRAME THAN THIS Strongest utility frame is vauban vs trinity, but i'd take vauban cause the CCi just showed you that in 3 "strenght" categories top frames are males
Makya
And are they the exception or the rule? There /isn't/ a rule. It's a mix. If you want to look for the 'most frail' frame.. You should look at Loki. A male. If you want to look at one of the top face roll tanks.. look at Rhino. A male. Warframe care little for gender. TheErebus.
Which is very impartial of you. And ideally I agree. But not everyone views it that way. Who cares? If they want to give special treatment to others, then they just contribute to the whole sexism idea that women aren't as strong as men. I know I sound like a brute or an uncaring &#!, but I'm not. If someone is deserving of a punch, I'll give it to them regardless of their race/sex/gender.

Atreides.
Mirage makes every weapon viable. Ash destroys every female frame except maybe Saryn and Nova in terms of damage Frost can actually output a surprisingly high amount of damage but its ineffective as far as elements.... In mags case She has polarize that destroys corps and corrupted and gives her a shield Crush against corpus is actually really strong against corpus and viable on corrupted but not really amazing Also the infinite shields she gets... Valkyr has super high armor because she doesnt have shields Theres a cause and effect there Theres also utility thats not being looked at.... Loki and vauban trivialize enemies Volt and frost are the top tier position holders Nekros has soul punch Theres just more than damage to it
