Nakimato
Base Damage Normal attacks, slide attacks, wall attacks, ground finishers, and prompted finishers deal 300 base damage + 125% / 140% / 160% / 175% of the equipped melee weapon's base damage. You don't need to build in anything into the Scindo because hysteria only takes the base Damage and the base ATK speed. Example: Weapon deal 1 DMG and have 1 ATK speed - hysteria deals 300 + 1.75 DMG and have 1 ATK speed If you equip 100% additional DMG and 30% ATK speed with a Mod Weapon deal base 1 addition 1 = 2 DMG and have 1 ATK speed + 0.3 = 1.3 ATK speed - hysteria deals still 300 +1.75 DMG and have 1 ATK speed because it overtakes only the base Edited January 4, 2015 by Nakimato
SodapopKevin
Pressure point, spoiled strike, organ shatter and true steel are the only melee weapon mods which actively effect Hysteria. You can stack full stacks of Bezerker with your normal melee weapon before you go into Hysteria and you get the bonus attack speed, but you don't gain any additional procs or refresh your stack while Hysteria is active. Darzk
Hysteria takes into account the modified base damage, meaning it does take into account mods like Pressure Point and Spoiled Strike. The reference to base here does not mean initial, but simply that it won't take into account elementals (or impact/puncture/slash) mods installed onto the weapon. Hysteria also takes into account the critical chance and modifier of the weapon, and mods that affect such. Finally, the weapons attack speed does not affect Hysteria. It did during a single patch and was quickly patched out. Fury has no effect on Hysteria attack speed. As SodapopKevin pointed out, Zerker will affect Hysteria's attack speed but you can't get or refresh the procs while in Hysteria.
