Is There A Way To Force It So I Never Host?

My internet is terrible. I thought Warframe was supposed to try to pick the "best" host before any match, but I've been picked as the host a couple times now. The other players always whine about lag and there's nothing I can do. Is there anyway I can force Warframe to never pick me to host the match?

Nope. At present, the game offers no way to control who does and does not host.

No, but you can set yourself as a laptop in the main game settings to push yourself into a lower bracket than desktop users.  Might help a little.  Also join missions in-progress.

There is not. Wish there was. Also wish there was a "Always make me host (don't join me into randoms, but let randoms join me)" button...

If I make the lobby and invite people, will it always make me the host or will it still look for whoever is best?

From what I understand if you set yourself as a laptop and somebody else is on a desktop with the setting on auto in the party, it should go to them.

But hosting mechanics in this game are wonky.
