Shock is good.  It has decent damage, is spammable, doesn't interrupt reloads, and has a measure of CC.

Speed and Overload need to be looked at.  Speed is good occasionally, but it has no protective or damage ability.  Speed needs two more effects:

1. Enemy accuracy reduction.  Moving twice as fast should mean the enemies are twice as inaccurate.

2. Infinite Stamina or dramatically reduced stamina consumption.  It doesn't make sense to run out of stamina in 5 seconds when you're being buffed by Void energy.

Overload needs to be able to use consoles, machines, data cables, etc. to make the electric arcs.  Usable lights are less common than you might think.  Additionally, it needs to be able to reuse the machines.  Every frame ult is spammable at full effect except for Volt's.  This is especially bad for Defense, where Volt would be a viable replacement for Frost except for the single-use ult.

Electric Shield needs to damage enemies that walk through it.  It would give Volt better defensive capabilities and allow people to use a frame other than Frost for defense.

Lastly, all of Volt's damaging abilities need to be able to break enemies out of animation locks to stun them.  Right now, any enemy in certain types of animations can completely ignore Volt's CC, which is bad for gameplay.

Most of the stuff I really have no opinion on, but I am concerned about the trading.

Now, I don't think players should be restricted on how high or low they sell items for.

Although, I feel we should all have the ability to create a shop and have the ability to list the price or also alow items to be traded with or with out the player needing to be on.

Meaning... I have just opened a shop... Now k want to list a mod in the shop. I put up cleaving whirlwind. Now I can put it up for sell for 25P or an optional trade/cost of bleeding willow. So someone who is looking for cleaving whirlwind can choose to pay the 25P or if they don't have the plat. They could just trade a bleeding willow if they happen to have it.

Another feature that would directly effect the price of items is a search by item. Thus it would be easy to find the best price and the system would regulate itself. Items would then be directly tied to drop rates and how difficult it is to actually obtain the item.

That's all for now... Enjoy! :p

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you think players generally set fair trade prices?
No, trade prices are generally unfair (with some exceptions).
You want to buy an Item I just spend a week farming T4S for, for 5 plat? No.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Would you deactivate Syndicate Allies if you had the option?

Yes, some of the time.

I like having followers, especially in Solo play.

But there are times when you want to go it alone.

Like. when Loki in a Capture mission.

You don't want your npc allies alerting the enemies now do you!?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you think Warframe needs more silly additions? (see topic below for examples)
Yes, a few more fun/silly additions.
Like, a skin for throwing knife weapons that make them look like Christmas Tree Cookies.
Or a giant Lollipop hammer skin, cat ears/tail, Santa Hat, Bunny Ears, Pumpkin Head Helmet wearable by any frame.
Easter Eggs during Easter scattered randomly through levels that have a random rewards in them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In your opinion, which Volt abilities need a revision the most? (can choose more than one)

Shock

It's, well, weak compared to other teir 1 abilities.

Make it hit all enemies in a cone in front of you and arc between enemies,

now that would be my favorite attack ability ever.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How often do you wish you could see ally energy bars?
All the time.
Especially my Sentinel or Kubrow's energy.
Free market economy:
Currently I believe the free market economy system is best. However there are a few issues with the trading system.
Offline trading
We need a system where we can buy and sell our items offline. Allow us to send trade requests to others. Currently it’s a hassle since you have to co-ordinate your efforts with people from across the world.
One such experience I had was when I was trading with a person from the Asia Pacific. I am in the US so the time difference was a major problem due to our work schedules. We got it sorted by using an intermediary in Europe but offline trading would have negated the issue in the first place.
Price knowledge
Currently there is no database of historical prices. I believe we need some sort of index through which we can judge and make decisions as to the value of an item.  Thus both buyer and seller are aware of the historical prices and chances of scamming/being scammed are reduced.
The steam community market seems to be a good base model to apply to warframe.
Syndicate Allies:
Currently I would like an option to disable them when I want to stealth through certain missions.
Volt:
1)Shock
Shock is in a good spot for the base power slot. Only change I would suggest is make the radius for chain lightning a bit larger i.e. hopefully you don’t have to aim directly at the target to get the lightning to arc to others
2)Speed
Speed is Volt’s staple for me. It is almost always active. The change I would like to see is an increase in volt’s base speed since currently it feels a bit ridiculous that other frames move faster than volt when speed is activated. Another change I would love to see is to add a ragdoll/knockdown effect on enemies when you run into them with speed activated.
3) Electric Shield
There are two main changes I would like to see to the shield. First, Enemies shouldn’t be able to pass through the shield easily. If they attempt to pass through a 100% electric proc should be applied to them. Secondly would like the casting animation changed to be similar to nekros’s soul punch i.e. shield should be castable when running away. Right now, you stop and cast the shield which kind of goes against volt’s run and gun gameplay with speed activated.
4) Overload
In theory Overload is a great power but its lacking a bit of utility as an ultimate. Firstly there is no stun applied to enemies. I have had enemies kill me before I could recover from the casting animation. This was with natural talent equipped. Maybe provide an electric sphere that surrounds volt while casting overload wherein he gets 75% dmg reduction.
Second change I would like to see is chain lightning to surround the targeted enemies which would allow you to transfer damage done to one enemy to all the others
Example : If there are 5 enemies in overload’s range, assuming the enemies survive after the initial overload. IF you do damage to one enemy, the other 4 also take 50% damage that you have done.
Allies Energy Bars:
It would be a great feature if added. Would make life easier for a lot of people especially since most people play without mics. If I can see allies energy levels it makes it easier for me to decide when to use powers, drop energy restores etc.
I posted my thoughts about the trading hall in the designated thread. Just want to say on Volt.
Suggestions for Ability 1 (shock):
-Give him a buff to its crowd control effects (longer duration)
-Give it a faster cast time or bigger hitbox/ I sometimes miss when aiming the skill. It might be im moving too fast but it seems theres a slow travel time on the ability.
Suggestion for ability 2 (speed):
It should increase reload speed of weapons.
I have no other opinions or ideas at this time on other improvements.
Trade
well, trade in warframe is pretty much as is in RL, unfair unbalanced and difficult.
this is why is fun, and good in the way it is. i have to say that since chat are region-based a lot of the fairness depend on the country. if you try ,for exemple, to buy a Bo prime handle in my home country chat (italy) none is going to sell it for less than 80-90 plat. if you switch to european eng chat it comes for 30. (and the italian guy said something that sound like "ah ah you n00b no way you going to buy it for less than 90")
the thing i like about tradin is that you can combine tons of offer, using plat, parts and mods.
this is the reason i will vote against a auction house, using only plt to trade will be a huge stepback in the trading system.
regards.
Syndicate Allies
What would be really fun though, is if the objectives of each Syndicate alert were somehow tailored to the Syndicate's ideals. For the most part they're an eclectic bunch, but it would be interesting to see Suda leaning toward sending you on specifically data-collecting missions like Spy, Steel Meridian on missions to "protect the innocent", Perrin Sequence on missions to escort cargo shipments, or Red Veil on stealth-focused missions to "purge the corruption". Add something different from your usual fare to the objective in each one - even if it was just flavor from the Syndicate operatives, explaining the strategic importance of what you're doing (like Lotus does), etc.
Oh yes, I love the idea. And it would add a nice touch to how you choose your syndicate(s). Now it's mostly for the rewards, maybe a little for the "message". But then it would also be about the kind of missions you really like to play a lot. You could express what kind of player you are through your choice of syndicate.
Silly Additions
Like, silly, weird and awkward stuff? Not so sure about that, in fact I actually consider the Noggles as cute versions of the characters/warframes that exist in the game. But overall I think that the game is already good as it is. But one cool stuff would be the ability to add extra narta animations, in the emote console you have several options, I was thinking that people could have some extra ones and having the ability to replace one emote that is already in the list by other emote, with the exception of some which couldn't be replaced. Either way, just don't mess up the things up to a point where the game starts to feel too much TF2 style.
Allies' Energy Bars
I guess I'll aprove that, not exactly as bars but as percentage or just as numbers, I mean this might actually help people understanding how much energy they have do that they don't start thinking that someone is a noob just because he/she didn't have enough energy to spam (even though I don't like spamming the abilities unless it's necessary). The only problem is that the only frame that has the ability to restore the energy of her allies is Trinity with Energy Vampire, it could be nice if there was a warframe whose abilities whould mostly be about the restoration of the energy bar or something like that. But who knows?
I would like syndicate allies to be present on endless mission types and additionally mobile defense.
It would also be good if DE can find a convenient way to put in ally commands (halt, stand ground, guard me, follow me, attack aggressively, etc.) Would be amazing if DE can apply this on kubrows as well.
As for the market, the way I see it, prices always normalize after a considerable span of time which is okay.
As far as trading goes it's a mixed bag. I have run into people who are reasonable sellers AND buyers, but of course there's exists those who try to rip you off. I consider trading its own gamemode that you have to really understand to get the best out of it. You have to read those chats and keep tabs on everything. Know which items are in demand, know how much they cost, how hard it is to obtain them, etc. It's a math problem with a dozen variables to plug in, but in the end you have control of whether or not you will buy/sell at the price given to you. Go with your gut, if it doesn't feel right don't do it. And for sakes, NEGOTIATE. I been in so many situations where people don't want to negotiate leave angry. When people negotiate both parties can feel that they had control of the situation and can come to an agreement they both like. In my experiences if you are dealing with a person who is charging an outrageous price and doesn't want to negotiate don't deal, run, your item will come again.
Its ok, but we need a more efficient way of doing them
A tip, prices for new content skyrockets on the first 4 days of its release, as it's riding the hype train. Content that is not in the drop tables tend to be pricey as well (such as the dual stat mods in an event).
Ok is there any way to get this to war frame designers or programmers? Is there anyway to be able to add to an up and coming patch the ability to build your own warframe with different powers however putting limitations on the set for example if you wanted to build a warframe you couldn't pick powers that consisted of all supers and also you would also have to own the warframes you get the powers from with warframes being ranked 30.
Free Market Economy
Definitely need an auction system. Set an item, set a price, find a buyer. Or as a buyer, leave a standing buy price hoping that somoene will post and meet it. Automating trades would be a huge plus, who wants to spend their nightly gaming session reading Trade chat?
Syndicate Allies
Hate them with a passion. Hate. Hate hate hate. From day 1 after joining in this game during open beta, I have enjoyed the stealth (such as it is) in this game. Syndicate allies are worse than Kubrow and trigger happy sentinels, all they serbe to do is aggro everything in sight when I try to stealth kill ONE enemy, and then stand right next to me while drawing attention of Bombards and Napalms. They may be useful at lower tiers, but I would never want to use them on anything but Exterminate or Defense missions.
Silly Additions
Candy cane scythes, Polar Glaxion skin, the more the better.  Yes please.
Volt
Overload needs some love
Allies’ Energy Bars
Long overdue. Don't know why it wasn't ever there to begin with.
1. No, no, absolutely not. The trade channel is full of scammers looking to snatch all your hard-earned or hard-paid-for platinum. I don't really think an official auction system is necessary, and it might not get to the root of the problem. The real problem is that players have no idea what the price of items are, and this leaves them open to being scammed by someone who does.
2. I would totally do this, but I think enemies/allies are a good thing for Warframe's community. Because people can't be in all syndicates at once, it means that we have to trade to get all the syndicate mods we need, which reinforces Warframe's economy (except for the scamming, of course).
3. No opinion on this topic.
4. Yes, yes, so much yes. We need a way to know when to drop a team energy restore or use Energy Vampire.
Syndicate Allies
I seldom play Syndicate Alerts so I click Yes, some of the time. But after playing a few Syndicate Alert missions today I changed my mind. They must be removed completely!!! Their AI is as worse as kubrow.  And stealth is never possible. I need to hack security in every mission with them. I demand friendly fire enable whenever i see them.
I will explain that I have no opinion on "Silly Warframe editions" as I've not seen all of them; I do not see any of the holiday fun easter eggs, snowmen, or the Eros Arrow Skins(but this may have been due to me being inept at using the Market interface) or other sorts of one day holiday happenings.
More noggles and Dojo furniture of the silly sort would be entertaining, though.
I am not looking forward to Syndicate Allies since I solo Syndicate missions so that I can stealth all of it; the AI has shown to be as finnicky as using the stealth Kubrow, who will attack enemies even while invisible, leave the owner, and attempt to kill enemies further away, which leads to the tile being alerted and the alarm being set off.
Looking at teammates energy bars would be helpful enough to me as I would be able to then know more about their build; whether or not they're using efficiency over capacity, whether they're using a Rage and Quick Thinking Combo and hence, whether I need to help them once they're at 2 health, or not if they have a contingency. It would help me judge better when to use an energy restore to benefit the team.
Lastly on the topic or trade, the invisible hand does enough to regulate trade. In essence, when prices are unfair, not many people will buy from that person.
on free market
Auction house would be a teribble idea i would prefer a some sort of a shop option like an exsample we would sell our garbage to void trader and he would resell it forward like lets say i sold him 40 oberons worth of BPs and it would cost like 10k credits per BP (helmet chassis system)and in the trader it would show "how many bps are avalibale for purchase and i would get that credit back to me with a 20-ish% "Tax" cost,
or atleast turn trade chat to a market window screen without the requirement to trade chat and there it would allow players to post a an item on sell for x plat or contact for negotiation of the price so you could basicly send even fusion cored throu inbox for stances, it would make a good use of the inbox gifting.
1)  Free Market Economy::
a)  Do you think players abuse the free market, or does it work the way it should?
I'm don't think free markets can be abused.  Free markets are a system of indifference.  They allow power to concentrate.   Withholding one's own consent and suing for breach of contract are all the protections permitted in a free market.  I'm not sure that can be abused.  It can be sabotaged.  But, then it wouldn't be a free market in that instance.
Ultimately, DE is the Central Bank in Warframe because they control the price of plat and drop rates, which controls the rate of inflation/deflation of valuable items.  So, it's not an entirely free market.
Hmm, imagine a system where the price of items is tracked and the drop rates react to them to provide indirect dynamic price controls.  Muahahahaha.........
b)  How do you think a centralized auction system would affect Warframe’s economy? Would it be better, worse, or the same?
If one wants a free market, it would be better because perfect price information is a pre-requisite for a a free market.
c)  Do you think an auction house would help stabilize prices?
Prices will still be subject to supply and demand and will only be as stable as that.
d)  Do you think prices should be regulated or unregulated?
What sort of regulation?  Since DE controls plat prices and drop rates, it can influence the market, even regulate it through that mechanism.
It's kinda nice that players can interact through trade to swap items.  But, trading is time spent not playing the game.  In fact, I think Warframe would be better off without trade.  Trade is entirely unnecessary in an action game.
Without player to player trade, players would build up a surplus of common items which they could sell for credits, transmute, or fuse.  If mods could scale infinitely, like the enemy, then players would have an infinite sink to soak up all surpluses.  So, player to player trade is a time wasting complication that distracts from the purpose of the game in my opinion.
Trade is here to stay I suppose.  It's an alternate form of item aquisition and surplus disposal.  But, in it's current form, it's a chore for players who would rather just play the game then hunt down sellers and buyers and haggle and price check and all that hassle.   A trade listing mechanism ala Settlers Online so that players do not have to waste so much time in trade and can just get back to the action would be a big help.
e)  How do you feel about the strength of Warframe’s economy?
It's a disgrace and the current president should be impeached!  He's clearly a Corpus Infesto-Fascist!  j/k
2)  Syndicate Allies::
They move faster and smoother than Space Ninjas.  Can my Tenno have what they're on?
4)  Volt:
Volt has a diverse ability set.  But, that is it's curse.  It lacks synergy and energy.  It's conflicted.  Cast Speed, run fast, stop, throw up shields to cover multiple angles, shoot, get mobbed, unleash Overload, wish you didn't bother with Overload.  That costs a lot more energy than Volt has but that's what a fast paced, ever changing, battlefleld demands.  Volt is too under powered to play his various roles.  Volt needs Batteries 2.0.
That sequence of events flows very poorly.  The change of pace on a battlefield is very chaotic.  So, a lot of energy is wasted recasting Speed and Electric Shield before they expire in order to react to changing threats.  And forget Overload.  It's a total waste.
His base sprint speed is lame and he handles like a boat on land.  He handles like he's carrying an electricty plant on his back, but, he's low energy.
What one would expect to be an electrifying experience is rather lame.
a)  Shock:
Shock is the best 1 power that comes to my mind.  It synergizes very well with gun play and melee.  It's active defense via offense.  It's fun.  Shock, shoot, dead enemy.  The ability works pretty much how you would expect.  It's effective and useful, satisfying.  But, could achieve higher quality.
Shock, the proc effect, should have a recovery phase.  People don't just recover from shocks like nothing happened.  So, I would add a shock recovery phase.  In the real world, when electricity stops flowing through a body, the muscles relax for a bit, so the body goes limp until it recovers, if it's not fried.
This would make it more immersive because it would work as expected.  Expectations are very import, especially realistic ones.  When realistic expectations are satisfied then one has a solid foundation for fiction and fantasy, a point of contrast.  So, if the common enemy were to react as expected to shock, then, there is room to further differentiate enemies with fictional, fantastic, or elite qualities.  It sets up a broader pallette of options for the enemies.  It gives a foundation to build elite enemies on the contrast between real and not real.
b)  Speed:
a)  Speed burdens Volt with a visual effect that interferes with spacial perception making it even more difficult to judge distance which makes it even more difficult to control movement.  The increased speed already requires careful handling.  The visual effect makes it even more difficult to control.
It interferes with appreciation of the game's graphics.
Volt's teammates receiving the benefit of Speed do not have to suffer the distorted vision.  Why should Volt be burdened with this?  Why punish players for fun?
b)   It doesn't make sense that Speed empowers one's limbs to sprint and swing melee faster yet that somehow does not apply to reloading, aiming in, squeezing a trigger, and all other movement of those sped up limbs.  I can see it not affecting casting times because the casting time could be construed as being dependent on equipment not effected by Speed.  But, if Speed increases the speed of your limbs, and the rest of your body/suit, then it only makes sense that all the actions performed by your limbs or body/suit would be sped up too.
c)  Somehow speed doesn't protect Volt very much against enemy fire, even with the new enemy accuracy rules.  Slowing enemies does much better.
3)  Electric Shield
a)  The one thing you'd think an Electric Shield would do, shock anything that comes in contact with, it doesn't do.  The last thing you'd expect an Electric Shield to do, magically stop bullets/lasers, is all it does.
b)  If one accepts that Electric Shield somehow energizes all ammunition shot through it, from bullets to radiation to toxins, one would naturally expect energy from abilities to interact with it.  Yet, it doesn't.
Sensible expectations should not require an augment mod to implement.  They should just be a part of the default behavior of the ability.  Otherwise, the game gets ridiculous fast.  It stops feeling like a world, like a concept, and just a bunch of chaos and BS, shoddy, which is less engaging than something wonderful.
4)  Overload
a)  Overload is extremely lame.  It seems to get ignored by enemies. standing right next to Volt, even with +129% power.  It's very slow acting.
b)  Adding a recovery phase to electric shock status would help Overload be less lack luster.
c)  It should 100% proc shock with each pulse.
d)  Allowing duration mods to modify Overload's duration would take some of the conflict out of Volt's ability set, making him more internally synergistic, because Speed and Electric Shield both depend on duration.
5)  Allies’ Energy Bars;
I don't see a use for this on any Warframe except Trinity.  Bars are small so they are hard to monitor during all the chaos.  Maybe triniity should have an EKG for each party member.  Dr. Lobster.  Paging Doctor Lobster........
Adding onto this: his Overload should be devastating as well and not have to rely on the environment for maximum effect.
Volt doesnt need any change the bad thing is electric damage is bad against armored enemies and every1 like to play void mission, volt is supous to be a damage frame with some def ability but electricity do not scale very well, solition: make the electric damage work like fire damage, 1 enemy type take more damage from it and the rest flat.
is an easy solution if you ask me ^-^
Hi! My opinion on Volt is this one:
Shock is good, and Speed is good, thought I really want speed to have an additional effect like reloading faster.
Speed and Electric Shield are both very good; but they lack synergy. My idea for this is that you can carry the electric shield in front of you; at cost of energy. And also choose to let it on an stationary place without having to spend more energy. Like push a button, spawn the shield, press it again in front of it to pick it up, press it to drop it, and press it looking at another direction to spawn another shield. I really want him to carry that shield around; and the fact that it drains energy per second makes it a little balanced.
Overload should really have an additional effect if you don't plan to buff it's damage or make stage hazards reappear at some time after using this ability. Some of this additional effect could be buffing his other abilities or even buff Volt's damage output for some time after.
The first frame I built was Volt when it dropped from J3 Golem (rip), and it's my favorite warframe since I've started playing. I really wish for him to get some love after all this time.
Cheers!
