1. Introduction

 

This Thread is about Maneuvers and how we could enhance them. 

Please don't spam or post irrelevant Things. 

Please be friendly to other People. 

 

2. General

 

What are Maneuvers and why should we enhance them?

Maneuvers are generally all the Sliding, Wallrunning and Dodging things which are available in this Game. As a Future-Space-Ninja maneuvers are important for aesthetics Aspects and for easy gameplay. If you master the maneuvers you can truly call yourself a ninja. And this is also the reason why have to enhance them. They have to become easier to use. 

So what are my ideas to enhace them?

 

3. Enhanced Maneurvers

 

At the moment we have maneuvers like sliding and wallrunning and some special version like 360° dash move.  But this is not enough. Not for a Sci-Fi-Space-Ninja. 

 

3.1 Jumping

 

How can we enhance Jumping?

Jumping for me is not intuitiv enough and what I really miss is Wall Jump. 

Wall Jumping to reach higher places instead of running the wall up. 

Here is a rough concept: 

Blue is how it now works. 

Red is the new idea.

3.2 Dodging

 

How can we enhance Dodging?

What I personally don't like about dodging is that you have to Zoom In to Dodging. 

The enhanced Version would be to Dodge while walking to the side/front/back. Dodge to every side while walking in the desired Direction and pressing  |Space|. 

 

3.3 Sliding

 

To enhance Sliding it should be possible to run further after the slide ends. 

It totally annoys me when the slide ends and I start crouching.

Also the sprint should get more intuitiv. It often happens to me that my Warframe stops running but i still press |Shift| and my stamina is not empty. 

 

4. Additional Ideas

 

If someone of you as additional ideas that don't fit in any of the categories above it will go into this corner.

I was think of a new maneuver ~ 

 

shoving / charging 

 

Now it might not be as handy as I would find it ~ but have you ever had those times where enemies blocked your path and you just wanted to pass them ?  why not give us an action to shove through them, putting them off balance like the rollers do to us and moving them aside  allowing the Tenno to pass them.  

 

 

just a thought

There are much more the the "maneuvers" than you mention here.

 

Plus can use wall running to reach higher places.

 

Hold aim is not the only way to dodge. I do standing flips over Grineer with shields, rollers and infested with shift+jump.
