foddersin
Hi everyone, I have done a quick search here, and found no post that seems to be similar to the problem I have noticed, so here goes with my bug report. Basically from what I can tell on any map, when you go down a flight of stairs, either by walking or running, I get no footstep sounds like I do when you go up them. I have recorded a short video to show this that I have uploaded to YouTube at the following links: Warframe - Sound Bug on Stairs Warframe - Sound Bug on Stairs (No Music) I am not sure if it is a driver bug introduced by Creative, since we probably all know how poor that support is, but that's another topic. And, just out of interest, is there any reason DE chose to use XAudio2 instead of using a more multi-platform solution such as FMOD or OpenAL?. Kettrien
It is hard to hear the sound with the drums pounding so loud. You might want to turn off the music first.

foddersin
Uploaded new video, updated original post and added video with no music, it also demonstrates the lost of footsteps better than the first.
