Carcharias
So I have a Grakata and a ammo drum mod boosting my max ammo by 25%. When I load into a mission my ammo shows 60/675. Play for a very little bit, run out of ammo and roll with the trusty sidearm for awhile and then switch back to my Grakata and I'm am at full ammo of 60/810. I am thinking that is my max ammo and that should be what I load in with. Right? And as long as I have your attention, I have played a few different guns now and don't usually run out of ammo, just every so often when I am being reckless, which makes a pretty good sweet spot. I find my self out of ammo in short time and all the time with this platform, even using a burst fire approach. I'm not suggesting that I should load out with the same amount of ammo that the department of homeland security seems to need, put perhaps the on board ammo should be bumped up a little considering the fire high fire rate and low bullet damage. The funnest part of this gun is ripping of a 60 round mag in like two seconds, its a shame you can only use it for the first three rooms before you out of ammo. Of course fixing the load in glitch will help a little, but still the ammo consumption on this "rifle" (SMG) is crazy. I don't even know if more ammo will help because the rate which you pick ammo up during a mission compared to the rate at which you consume ammo will not change, and you will still run dry comparatively faster then any other rifle. You could reason that because the Grakata does less than half the damage per shot than other rifles (Mk-1), ammo pick ups for it should be 40 instead of 20. Or you could call the Grakata what it is (a SMG) and have one more kind of ammo drop. Bottom line is if you drop enough for the Grakata the other rifles will NEVER run out, and if you stay at this relativity good spot for ammo with the other rifles where they run out if you don't pay attention there will NEVER be enough ammo pick up for the Grakata. Afterthought: maybe make it so the Grakata picks up pistol ammo as well as rifle, that will increase the pick up rate without impacting any other guns.
