Foxbyte
Now that the Corpus have special head mechanics, I think it would be funny if there was a special death animation for them being headshot with a blunt melee weapon. Their head pops up on an elongated cybernetic spine. Ding sound is optional.

sambarpowder
Their heads are armored alienware CPUs, they bounce bullets.
Swizzlestix
A 'ding' to imply ricochet off their heads is a fantastic way to explain why headshots don't do damage to these guys. I remember at first thinking my bullets were just phasing through their heads when I was firing at them. If there had been a distinct metal ping to indicate my bullets were actually bouncing off those metal shells, I'd have caught on much faster. +1 to OP.
