Levels need more building blocks

The levels in this game are huge, which is awesome. But, I notice a lot of repeating sections which make it extremely hard to have any sense of direction. Instead of going off landmarks, I just stare at the minimap the entire time, following the red dot. It would be nice to see more building blocks for the levels to break this up.

More "segments" in general are needed for the sake of variety. The maps feel all the same because you see the same rooms all the time, some of which have been the same since release of the game.

For a game where repeating same missions over and over is a thing, Id wish there was WAY more variety in the level layouts. Especially defense and interception maps that are basically just one room.

Map tile sets are randomized (except a few of them). This is supposed to keep things fresh and also prevent you from memorizing layout. However, by the time you clear the start chart any freshness has expired and you do start to remember some of the random tile set pathing.

The conversation acknowledges the randomness of maps. The suggestion is that more random components are added to the mix so the levels feel more organic/natural and less like repeated segments stuck together.
