ap0k41yp5
I think the pricing of the palette is ok, I don't mind paying for customization options, but we should have more available colors, including flashy colors (especially for the lights). Aido-Hwedo
last time i checked LoL sell skins for like 7-8 dollars per skin, pre champ. And this game gives you a good amount of colors for free. And then its only 5$ to unlock the full range of colors... for all your warframes. People surprise me everyday. Kyuzo
can they make something cheaper? like 10 plat to unlock 1 extra row? i remember starting and seeing the 50 plat and i was like ok lets see about buying that extra colors because i wanna look badass.. then i see the 75 plat price and im like nooooooo
Feindfeuer
I could understand the pay2win complains when there was no way to unlock pro gear, and i supported the idea to change that (and i'm still keen on them further expanding that). But customisation is exactly what should be sold with the exception of special event items that may be earned by all players during, well, special events. Selling single colors or rows for a cheaper price sounds like a good idea though, cause more options for buyers == more buyers.
GoneM4d
In mechwarrior online they give u 5 free colors and you have to pay to have em painted, pay with game money for most colors and even pay real money for other colors. So you were saying something?
Liminal
I'm cool with colors being platinum only. They could even add another palette later with stuff like silver, gold and other shiny shades. (I'm not that cool with reactors and catalysts though, but that's another issue)
GoneM4d
I think that instead of having every color unlock at once you should have a chance to unlock like 5-8 random. Edit: With a low chance ofcourse Edited January 16, 2013 by GoneM4d
neKroMancer
Warframe already abolished the barrier between paid customers and free players when they got rid of 'pro' system. All cosmetic items, color extension and skins, should be buyable only with real money. It's not related to your gameplay - it's just your in-game appearance. MegatechBody
Cosmetic appearance luxury items without paying? That is an unreasonable request. Luxuries should not be free. Providing basic service for free to people who are not even customers is good enough. Any debate about f2p vs p2p items can easily be defeated by this fact. The non-essential service is being provided for free. If you do not like the service you should move on to another service. It is not your right as a consumer to be entitled to more free luxuries such as items or features in a video game. doqo
1. Cosmetics should be restricted to pay-only. 2. The option to go thru content faster, without providing exclusive content, should be given to the people that desire to pay. its simple, fair and efficient
Vocare
Everyone has tossed in their side of the argument but as i was reading through here i think i saw somone mention smaller bundles of colors. I agree with this. Why only one pack to unlock? Why not make 3 unlocks? or 4? The current color unlock is 5$ /75 plat for all the current colors. Well why could we not have the option to not buy a non bundled color packs? add seperate 1.50cent packs or even 2 dollar packs. Yes you spend more money to unlock all the colors but the consumer will have more options based on their disposable income. While those who want all the colors can just buy the bundle and save a little on the bulk purchase. (similar to the Female frame bundle) I would like to note that Warframe is free to play and if they are not selling colors, skins, quicker advancement, and other perks how will they make money ? I for one do not want a mountain dew banner across the back of my tenno.
Pruney
One colour at a time would be cool. Unlocking the whole palette, no.
Kirbuncle
I said this earlier in the thread, but I'll ask the question a little more clearly. We currently get this: Why can't we have this?: It's pretty much the only thing I see wrong here.

I've seen some pretty ludicrous colour schemes running around.

ap0k41yp5
I think i would be less ridiculous with my black rhino with red lights than a white & green rhino with pink lights. The problem is if we don't pick default color for the lights, they most of the time look bad...
