e21baur Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 was playing for some hours, after the hotfix i logged out, logged in and all i got was black screen, crashing windows so i have to restart my freshly installed pc. been trying 3 times now.. all i got is black screen, shift - tab og alt tab or even ctrl alt delete do not work... my clan is waiting for me as we speak.... im on a S#&$ty amd and more and more i hate amd.... I am in the camp that can't see them at all, and have been waiting for a fix for it for a LONG time as its nothing new. Its been around for as long as I can remember. Sounds like a particle quality issue or something along those lines. I remember when the Nukor was realeased some people could see the visual effects and some couldn´t, and the reason was the particle quality. I think I need to do some test then. Centias Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 It's a Stealth Bow specifically for going against Corpus. Like the Dread is for Infested, and the Paris for Grineer. The Cernos has always been worth using. A status build with Gas damage on the Cernos spells ultimate doom for entire hordes of Corpus. If you're using it against Grineer, wrong tool for the job. You don't blame a metric wrench for not fitting a standard/imperial bolt, you blame the mechanic who chose that wrench. Why, in a video game, does this logic magically fail people? You guys have the right idea, but it's really not even so great for that, because honestly you'll get better results just using a Dread or Paris Prime with the right elemental mods for fighting Corpus. The Cernos compares more in damage and status to the Paris than it does to Dread or Paris Prime, which should be noted to have twice the status chance. Certainly one should never use it against Grineer, because obviously it's the wrong damage type. But it's really not the better option against Corpus either. It's less like the wrong tool for the job and more like the tool was made poorly for its intended purpose, like it's missing a piece or doesn't grip well enough, so a multi-tool made for a different purpose is getting the job done better until you can find a new tool for the job. Maybe if there was a Cernos Prime it would actually be worth using against Corpus. Then we would actually have the right tool for that job. Also second monitor is now black which was not happening before update (at least not often) I now have to alt-tab perhaps 10 to 15 times to display the desktop. This sucks.
