Uh, hate to break it to you, but the wording suggests(and has previously been used to describe) the removal of buggy rooms that would cause loss of spawn, making survival harder/impossible when the game assigned spawns to the room and it was unable to comply.

Until stated otherwise, it's notanerf.

Yeah...no idea how people think this is a nerf, I'm guessing they just read "remove" "survival" and "spawn" and just fly into their little hissyfit.

alt+ tab when loading in progress with dx 10 or 11 crash game (game not responding), when game is loaded everything is fine but anyway game stutter in ship when navigate and always when loading in mission with dx10.11(no difference low or high settings), not saw crashes when loading in missions tried only solo but solo was fine before too,not tested with full team , this bug exist more then half year, before all was fine, with dx 9 u can alt tab without any problems and no stutters, so for ppl who crash or stutter when loading in mission and when after loading in mission uncheck dx 10,11 in game launcher to fix.

There is a new policy that keeps people from absorbing energy if they don't move. I don't like the energy policy. Moving and shooting count as activity but constantly aiming and using Energy Vampire do not. I run out of energy every two minutes because I can keep casting but I'm not even getting energy from my own power. Now I have to randomly strafe to count as being an active player. This is lame. Meanwhile, I'm pressing buttons and contributing thousands of energy to my cell. I don't have a third hand or a fancy mouse with thirteen buttons so I can follow some lame, made-up rule meant to punish someone else. Get rid of the energy blocking.

As I do not play Trinity on a regular basis I have no idea whether this is the case or not but if it is I pray to whatever god there is that DE fixes this load of *************** !

...Yes there are numerous threads about it.......why is this in the hotfix thread?

Simply because I didn't know where else to ask about it. That and it was the first time I'd ever seen it, so I didn't know if it was new or not.

Hi there, not sure if this has been identified.

Last night, whilst running a 4 man team through various missions, one of us decided to take a shower and AFK whilst the remaining 3 of us do the excavation mission for the Limbo Systems Blueprint. After completing around 7 excavators, we finally got the Limbo Systems BP and went to the extract point.

Roll on the summary page and we discovered that all rewards from the excavation are lost.

My conclusion is that the AFK member caused everyone to not receive anything at all. (He's got the Limbo Systems BP already so that's why he is afk. It's not as if he is AFK to lazily get the Limbo Systems BP. We also "approved" him to be afk as we do not want to re-invite him after this mission to do other missions)

My suggestion therefore is for DE to only "punish" the person who is AFK and not the rest of us.

Otherwise I guess the only option is to get killed on purpose and die out to prevent the rest of us from not getting anything.

Not a Warframe issue specifically; people have had it on various other games (WoW for example). The issue is caused by drivers on your computer, and can be anything causing the crash (some people had issues with Norton, another had issues with a file that wasn't removed properly and so on).

Submit your dump files to DE and maybe they can help, alternatively, try posting on a tech forum such as Eightforums.com; they'll be able to help you towards solving your problem.

You'll need to include your dump files so they can be analysed properly and the cause identified, your dumps are usually stored here: "%systemroot%\minidumps" such as "C:\windows\minidumps"

I've run a dump analysis using debug tools. It just says that the problem likely stemmed from the nVidia drivers, which may or may not be the ultimate cause. In any case, usually when it says that, it's some program trying to tell the drivers to do something that it doesn't want to do.

I've played many games on my machine. Used many different programs and this has never occurred...until I load and play Warframe. I haven't played WoW, so I cannot comment on that.

In regards to the minidumps...The minidumps are snippets of the memory stacks, etc. at the time when the crash occurs and are typically NOT that useful for determining what went wrong. The MEMORY.DMP file is usually what programmers find useful, and I seriously doubt they want me sending them a 1.5GB file. Though who knows, maybe they do. I often don't bother with support, since with most crash reports, etc. I seem to recall them saying they don't deal with such problems and report that kind of stuff on the forums.

Download Who Crashed, it's a dump viewer.

It should return something like this:

On Sun 2014-04-13 10:31:45 PM GMT your computer crashed

crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\041314-83694-01.dmp

This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x5A440)

Bugcheck code: 0x133 (0x0, 0x504, 0x503, 0x0)

Error: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System

company: Microsoft Corporation

description: NT Kernel & System

Bug check description: The DPC watchdog detected a prolonged run time at an IRQL of DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem. This problem might be caused by a thermal issue.

The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

Could you do that, and then paste the dump analysis here (just the latest one related to the crash)? Maybe we can find the cause of the problem. If you want to that is.

Do you have an SSD? Apparently the watchdog violation BSOD is quite common on SSD's, though I've never experienced this myself.

Incidentally, try deleting (backing up) your dump file and then waiting for it to happen again; the file shouldn't be that big - the folks over at Eightforums have been suggesting to upload (or attach to post or stick in OneDrive) those dump files for a long time (still advise doing this). :)

Changes

  • Players can now use the /unstuck command when in Solo mode.
    • The /unstuck command is now usable in any chat channel, but only when a player is in a Mission.

At least I won't get stuck everywhere I go because I have a bad computer.  But Cephalon Simirias still follows me wherever I go in the Relay if I go to the Sanctuary, even outside the Sanctuary.

Still no fix for: Virus protection protecting me from updating warframe.

https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/436581-virus-protection-prohibits-the-launcher-from-updating-u1622-as-shown-in-video/#entry4837841

Chao, The Roaring Lion Warlord of Shadow Lords

Your protection system (apart from sucking) looks as if it's blocking any communication attempts between the Warframe launcher and the server and the launcher isn't programmed correctly to handle that disconnect. More than likely, the code is not threaded which means the application will hang while it waits for something, in this case, it's waiting for the server to respond which it can't do.

The problem is with whatever security software your ISP has given you. Speak to your ISP about this, this is not something DE can fix.

That is 100% true, I just wanted to rise a sh**storm. People may now consider other rooms and strats, I would be happy If they do! I really wanted to make the new Volt Prime more popular and vital in missions :-).

Since that fix is not explicit explained, this may cause confusion. I've needed to read it twice to understand. Words like "some procedural rooms" are not very precise (what's with this choice of words?) and also what are "Survival points"? Isn't it called life support?

Players right now are very sensitive to the words "Removed", "procedural rooms" and "spawn" in correlation to Void Survivals thanks to a certain thread. As If this was the intention to cause confusion for those who have abused or is abusing the camping method, since it hasn't been any other definite response to this issue.

Now, you see the problem with calling Cernos Corpus-orientated/specific weaponry (because of the impact focus) is that impact specialises in destroying shields - shields being the only damage bar that, when depleted, will not mean instantaneous death for the enemy.

They'll still have health and armour to be dealt with - something impact damage fails to have any considerable effect over without decent puncture or slash damage available to compensate. Cernos is 90% impact damage, leaving 10% to fall short of effectiveness against health and armor type life bars.

I'm not ruling out that impact damage still does damage to health and armour, but it doesn't have the (pardon the pun) impact it needs to damage all the way through enemies that are sufficiently leveled against the bow. Which is bad considering the other bows are capable of one shotting like-for-like enemies of their level and beyond.

Hell, even the wiki has a spot-lighted tip for using the Cernos solely for 'Draining enemy shields' and switching out to another weapon in order to kill them.

Impact damage and bows do not mix. Shotguns get away with it due to quantity of pellet count, melee gets away with it on sheer damage and dps, but the Cernos is low damage, slow firing, accuracy orientated weaponry that plays to none of impact's 'strengths'.

EDIT: Apologies for the rant and thanks for the fixes.

I like the idea that they might 'retire' all existing bows, and release a single bow where you hold 'Reload' button to get a Gear-like tab and can select different ammo types. Future bows could then be different in mechanics rather than damage types. So you could fire a impact shot, then switch to a puncture for walkers.
