master_of_destiny
So, any other AMD GPU user ready to quit this buggy game? It seems like a damning way to start a thread, but at this point I'm ready to write warframe off as coded by the remaining monkeys not writing the works of Shakespear. Trying to inject some levity into this, because otherwise I'd be following it with a stream a curse words. So update 16 has generally sucked. Not for content, or effort, but every single update has basically told AMD users to go straight to......sorry, there's a lot of anger here. After 16.2.2 I thought this would be fixed, but 16.3.0 managed to undo any fix. To let you know I'm not whining about nothing, check out this list: 16.0.0 WAR-431738WAR-431790WAR-432687WAR-433350WAR-433879WAR-433932WAR-433979 16.1.0 43401243403043403716.2.043714943837643841443881843974743989516.2.1441047 x2441059441074441120 x244113916.3.0442787442807442822 x2442833443466443576443587444025444043444065444102444120444147444176444186444221444233 I stripped out the few unstuck crashes, and add x2 by the crashes which gave me the same number twice. 41 failures, all at the same point (mission start), and all only on AMD GPU hardware. Playing on a laptop with a 4310 and integrated graphics yields no issues. At this point, 16.4 (or whatever the next hotfix is) better fix the game. If not, you've lost another player DE. For reference: 3930k CPU 32 GB RAM @ 1600 MHz 9-9-9 Asus Deluxe motherboard 7970 GPU with 14.12 Catalyst Omega Drivers Windows 7 Professional x64 SP1 All joking aside, fix this. Somehow 16.2.2 was stable for more than a day, without crashing. It is definitely possible, and this crap deserves more attention than textures in PvP. Horonelius
But coding is haaaaaaaaaaaard. Harder than updating textures anyway.
Senoinya
Came here to post about these frequent crashes, found this topic. Same issues here, constant crashes, every other mission start I get a crash. Never had a SINGLE crash before, but now suddenly it's just crash after crash with no sign of stopping. My specs: CPU: AMD FX-8350 8-Core @4.52 GHz RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 2100 MHz. GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7970 3 GB - 14.12 Catalyst drivers. OS: Windows 7 Home Edition x64. DE, fix this. I'm not sure how you managed to pull this one off, but it needs to be fixed.

belcebub
Was looking through the forums if it was just me, it seems not. Had the issue of crashing with call to vital function error since a few hotfixes ago, after u16 iirc. I have an amd card as well, never had this issue before, now it ruins more or less my every session. It's usually the first mission i try to do, but it isn't always the case. They really need to look into this, it's rather unplayable like this. Edited April 13, 2015 by belcebub
master_of_destiny
So, I've been playing around and think I have a "Fix." When you boot up the client, make sure to untick the DX10 and DX11 boxes in the settings. It makes the game significantly less fun to look at, but at least it gets to run. I've also linked this post in the most recent hotfix. Just shy of 2000 hours, and this is where it might end. If it is, may the rest of you have more luck getting DE to fix this steaming pile of code. I'm done putting in huge amounts of effort, only to be ignored.
