I know it's becoming repetitive, but movement 2.0? Can you give more details on what are you working on?

I ask this because I think mobility is (imo) the most important thing in this game, and I look forward for more fluidity and control.

Hopefully this gets answered because after seeing Tyl Regor with the sword and board I have really wanted to ask

 

How many different weapon types did it take to settle on the sword and board?

And

How did you come to the decision of where you have placed the sword and board on his person as it stands at the moment?

 

Also on a different note

Are there any plans to release new syndicate weapons or skins to create syndicate set themes?

While fighting bosses you're usually just shooting the bosses until they get to their next iFrame and waiting - continually repeating the process until dead. Bosses that have invincibility periods (iFrames) add a false sense of longevity and difficulty to the game. It's not a challenge to fight these bosses: just tedious. With lephantis (one of the best boss fights in the game) it made sense because some parts of lephantis cover it's weak spots, but the spots become vulnerable almost naturally and not forced. If I'm mastery 18, and I have everything in the game but miter I'll need to go farm that from two bosses that have their own iFrame. I would have, arguably more experience and better weapons than the average joe but the time to clear these bosses are the same because of these iFrame.

 

Why has DE implemented such a forced way to fight bosses? Was it just a placeholder mechanic for their eventual reworks? Will bosses with invincibility periods have a more dynamic combat system?

 

I'm not against iFrames. I love lephantis and I love the Trial. However, those make sense in their own context. Other bosses just seem to have iFrames without any context as to why.

Amazing, I got an interesting question here.

 

          Since the Orokin language has been decoded-most of the Orokin words on Warframe have been translated. But still a lot of stuff to decipher in this universe and a lot of people (Including me) are working on it.

My question is, will we ever hear the Tenno talk? I do know Orokin language is based on English, but if there are signs of this language everywhere, its obvious they understand it, Right?

With the Void Trader now only bringing 1 new item per appearance, is he going to be changed to appear every week instead of every 2 weeks? This would also help cycle through repeat items more frequently so that players have a chance to get what they have missed.

Hi, two questions.

 

What are the next warframes to be looked at. Now that some abilities have a continuous ON until the power is turned off or the player runs out of power, some other abilities from older frames could use this new way of power use. The first that comes to mind is Trinity's link.

 

Also, is there ever going to be a way to add mod slots onto weapons or warframes?  Like using a forma or 'tater not to add a symbol but add a slot. Now that there are like 10 necessary mods for warframes and only 8 slots. And the balancing factor is already in the game with the cost of the mods. It was great having 10 slots before. So will there ever be a way to add more slots or ways of adding mods.

 

Also now with all the augment mods, what about an augment mod slots? There are so many but there are already to many mods to put on the warframes there are very few that are worth sacrificing a neccessary mod for the augments.

question: its a really old topic that has never been addressed, when will rhino get any sort of upgrade/rework, rhino was supposed to be the tank frame that was almost unstoppable as described by you all in his intro video. as it is now rhino is the worst scaling frame in terms of defensive abilities and he is out tanked by support frames like trinity and a berserker like valkyr. since excalibur is getting a new work over to make him cool as well and many other frames got workovers or tweaks when will rhino ever get some work done to make him viable again and not relegated to the noob frame to run around on mercury and feel like a god treatment he gets.

I had some questions that I wanted to get in for last devstream but was in able to do so. So these aren't related to boss reworks but I was wondering if you all could answer them anyway.

Question:

1) Is it possible to make it so we can toggle chomas pelt off in social areas? Hek even in mission and we just sacrifice armor for speed that rivals Loki? While I love pelted Chroma, i also LOVE under Chroma! The art team did such an AMAZING job on him and it saddens me that I can only see him when I Effigy.

2) with Excals rework right around the corner. Why not go the extra mile and not only have him draw his energy sword but also have energy armor suround him as well?

 

+1 on this 2 points just want to add that the energy armor should be subtle kinda like the tech armor in mass effect but closer to the body without becoming ultra shiny

1. What will the Sentients battle doctrine be ?(Corpus fragile units with high attack supported by various drones. Infested melee swarmers with a few specialised units mixed in, Grineer high armour units that make heavy use of specialised units such as the heavy gunner, napalm, shield lancer, commanders etc.)

2. After all the old bosses have received overhauls how frequently will we be receiving new bosses?.

1) When can we expect to see the weapon and frame slot rewards/unlocks for Mastery Ranks? I've been sitting on a full inventory for a good while, not wanting to 'waste' more platinum on slots, but that system still hasn't been implemented.

 

2) And, when can we expect to see more skins for frames or even just PBR updates for base and existing skins? 2.5) Could we even see an update dedicated solely to replacing all the old frame materials with PBR ones? The Excalibur skin in the previous devstream looked pretty badass (will Nyx get a similar one?)** and I'm really eager to see more cosmetic content like that.

Mesa has completely changed the way we play defense missions.. as soon as there's a mesa in game you can be sure that you'll be jobless until ~round 20.. are there any thoughts on buffing mesa? I thought of an increased energy consumption so that her ability is still powerful but you can't just stand there an kill everything walking in your room for a whole minute..

It's been noted that our current totally-awesome-badass wuxia crouching lancer, hidden tenno aerial manuevers&coptering will be GONE/nerfed/reworked. Will we be able to get mods that re-enable the current high-flying acrobatics that are now iconic to the game, or will parkour 2.0 kill all of our aerial stunts?



Will we ever see ducats as login rewards? How is the login reward thing going in general?

Will Lephantis be getting reworked for increased difficulty? As after the late July update when his difficulty was accidentally greatly increased, he truly felt like a powerful endgame boss. Several threads were even crated regarding the subject, such as:

Will the tenno we play as have a option for a selectable female and male generic voice to comunicate with NPC's for future quests? For example when we had a ability to select a within a group of questions during our conversation with Cephalon Simaris the tennos voice would be heard instead of just reading text on the screen.

 

Also are you planing to add more depth to Warframe by giving us missions or quests that will give us a bigger role to play by giving us available dialogue choices in the conversations with future NPCs that will also open up other paths in the game?

firstly: with the reworks of the bosses will you ever want to exapnd our star map beyond the System of Sol, to include outter planets of other systems (perhaps appearing for short times for events) to host new more crazy bosses. or entier new sepcies and older infected.

 

Secondly: There is a sadness in my heart about warframe that is hard to place, but i think i found the reason. it's the con tant pressure for the production of new content with the raids and new enemys and weapons and alike, but with the recent leaks of an xcal, frost and movment rework will we see a shift in focus to refining content that already exsists rather than padding our satisfaction with new content?  oh and a new star map? am i wrong in fearing you might be spreading talent thinly over concepts in an attemt to rsh rather than have a few more people work on one topic to make it better faster so we get one thing then another rather than all at once? (wierd question i know)

 

Finaly: This is far more personal, since the digital extremes website gets a lack of responce when mailed, i wish to ask about support for opening interships and like or summer jobs for students in forien countries like the UK who would adore to work for you. and i would also like to know who would ultimatly have a say in the final decision, but i suppose if the question must be game related you can replace this with (can you change it so then when you have a secondary weapon and a datamass with no ammo instead of dropping the datamass and going to primary if it could swap to primary or just have a melee swing of it's own, it just anjoying to drop the datamass)

I though I like it now that you don't need Frequency Triangulator keys to fight Vay Hek anymore, whats going to happen to the prosecutors? Are they sticking around or being cut out because the are no longer necessary? Also, I liked the idea of crafting keys to find secret bosses, is that something to look for in the future?

 

Lastly, What happened to they syndicates having there own guides in there respective syndicate alerts? I really miss them as I thought it added character to the mission.
