If you look at her from the side she will look to have a thicker waste. But I see that &#! extra armor/sexy abbs(mikasa ftw) rather then fat. While it could be represented as a Xeno head, I think it's actually a nod to the deformed skulls of Mayan era people. They were pretty smart people, making calenders and star charts and whatnot, and some of them connections with the Gods aliens, but with Nyx being about mind games, I definitely think it's a crazy human head.
