Voradors
I am pretty new and only have one Warframe unlocked. Before i purchased others, i wanted to know if there were differences other than abilities and appearences between warframes? Like the skill trees, are they different? Some offering more damage/mobility/defense? Couldnt really find anything one way or the other.
ChathSuaco
The differences really are vastly undocumented... I've only played excalabur, and I can safely say that excalabur is a warframe based around melee damage. I'd like to note that I've yet to unlock the second half of the abilities, I dont have any reactors to do that. I own now Ash and my first experiance with him has been... well, underwhelming. It's basically the same as Excalabur, but the 1 is only single hit for massive damage, I dont know what the other abilities do yet. I've seen Volt in action. Volt is very much an elemental mage warframe. Lightning attacks everywhere. The support is a bullet blocking shield, which is usefull I've found, and the attacks are all multi hit. To my understanding, ember is much the same Finally the last one I've seen, Loki, is based around stealth, but has it's fun bits in combat, teleporting and causing chaos. It's very similar to Ash, but Ash is more combat oriented.
darkelmo12
only diffrence i have seen is the abilities i have 4 warframes up to now 3 wich are diffrent : Rhino,Excalibur,Excalibur Prime,Mag and they all seem to have the same skill tree just with diffrent skills i think that the only way to really customize your warframe the way you like is with mods and also i think base stats maybe diffrent but i do not know for example Rhino having more armour or Mag having high damage output on skills. Voradors
Hm, alright thanks. I hope they add more differences to Warframes in the future. While i do like the customization through mods, i dont understand why two different warframes would have the same trees.

All I can say is "Beta. they're probably working on it" Edited January 16, 2013 by ChathSuaco
UkyoSonoda
Yeah the question that has been on my mind is if the circle upgrades that are set stat boosts on each frame were different. Changing those up could help define each frame's intended role or purpose.
muvoxi
It would be awesome to see differences in the stock stats of the frames. I.E. Rhino having more armor since it clearly has couple inches thicker breastplate than other frames. Similar to Ash having a faster running speed, or something alike. Voradors
All I can say is "Beta. they're probably working on it" I know, and thats why i just said i hope they added it and didnt come down on the devs for not having it already. I agree that base stats for different frames would be good, and individualizing the circular stat increases.
Sealgaire
It's my understanding that the warframe specific mods will eventually be a lot more unique and tailored to their warframe's style in order to set them apart. That could go a long way towards increasing differences while still allowing for a lot of customization.
