QuizBomber
I had an AMD Radeon 5450 that was completely destroyed after installing and playing the beta. In my previous post, I mentioned that the game crashed my computer and stopped it from working. I don't know if this just happens to be coincidence, but this happened only after I installed the game. I have to get a replacement video card, and I wanted to make sure that this is brought to light just in case it happens to other people. I'll post system specs as soon as I can
ShelbyTrooper
The game compatibility with AMD boards is not good, many people complain of invisible textures. And, 5450 is not good to run this game, if you put in high settings on a non-compatible GPU, of course that will give some sort of problem. You had updated your video card before play??? And don't complain, is a beta test, you are playing at your own risk. 5450 is only a 8600gt with Dx11, more nothing. And AMD are a little warm. You have a good cooling system??? hellsan631
In essence, this happens a lot with games. Its not because of warframe, but because of a fault in your hardware. You just havn't had a game push your hardware to the extent warframe did. Its like having a really old car that you've never driven over 80mph. You put new gas in it and try and drive it at 120mph, and it breaks down. You wouldn't blame the gas, would you? You also mentioned your hard drive, what happened there? If your hard drive died as well and you needed a replacement for that, then the problem is actually your PSU.
Warframer
I hope you still do have warranty but by "completely destroyed" what do you mean? Did your GPU overheat or something? o.
Ninjaman999
Indeed, if the HD and GPU both went out, it muct be a faulty PSU. A couple google's should help confirm.
Volfenstein
It's not the game that is destroying your pc. Like everyone else said you're just pushing it too hard. Try upgrading :D
DarkRockslizer
Either lower your game settings or you've overclocked it too much. Also, as this is an early beta, expect your game to crash anyways.

Montiblanc
i5 quad core 8 gig ram with gigabyte gtx 560 with windforce. guess what? after playing warframe this long my computer failed to boot one time after crash.
SilverBones
That could also be indicitive of a problem with your HD or Memory rather than the game. If your memory fried out then you would not be able to boot and it would - of course - crash anything running. You may want to try downloading a version of Puppy Linux on a disk and use it's diagnostic tools to see if your memory and hard drive are working correctly. Easiest and cheapest way to diagnose an issue, as long as you can get someone to download and burn the image for you.
Montiblanc
i already had these tests done before playing this game with no errors (sceduled tests just happened to be at that time) its the game Edited January 2, 2013 by Montiblanc
[DE]Steve
Sorry you're having stability problems guys! I've had heat problems with my last PC and ended up changing the fan. Seriously though - our game won't break your PC. It might happen to be the game you're playing when your PC overheats or something breaks, and as much as that sucks, its not our code doing it. KitsuAccalia
I5 clocking 3.0 Ghz 8 Gb Ram and a GTX 550 Ti with a 600W PSU <3 Running like a dream here, my temps are normal and all is well in game I can even move and multi task with the Steam client while Warframe is open. I was thinking DE did an incredible job on opitimization and game code~ although I am sad cause my completion records are like 70% cause of DC's ;~; but still this game will never kill a pc. Try upgrading parts and isolating the problems.
Iacon
HI guys, i have a nvidia gt430, triple core amd phenom processor and 2.75gb of usable ram and everytime i finish a mission, when the tenno goes into the extraction thing and flew out of the ship, everything crashes, its the same problem, just wanna know if its hardware failure too or i should re- install the game (if something doesn't makes sense, english is not my native language)
[DE]Rebecca
Iacon, Sounds like you might want to create a support ticket for tthat. You could re-install game and make sure you are playing with the latest version! If this persists, visit support.warframe.com. Thanks!
Xiangzhu
You can't blame the game, you can only blame yourself. If you've checked the system requirements before running the game then your gpu should still be fine now. Also make sure you have a persistant cool air coming into your case to cool your system. Not to mention HD 5450 doesn't even have it own fan and have a passive cooler.
Iacon
I was checking the forums and found something about directx 11, so the idea came up to my mind... i opened the launcher, clicked the little gear icon and deactivated the directx 11.... PROBLEM SOLVED no more crashes
Hazmatzone
I run this on a ATI Radeon 3450 (granted i have to go minimum resolution and options) but it hasn't impacted my computer too the point where it breaks stuff.

zulum
I am running Radeon 4890 and the max temp I got was 82 C. Max temp on my CPU was 45 C. So, everything is fine if your machine has a decent cooling. Edited January 9, 2013 by zulum

It is possible for malicious software to be designed to cause physical damage to the hardware (by doing things like sending bad requests to the hardware), and it might be possible for a highly complex program (like a computer game) to do this accidentally. Could you point to an image of such a testdisk you had in mind? I know there are many different utilities & rescue disk's out there, so I'd like to know which one you use & trust.
