Releasing alternate helmets for frames with Arcane Helmets does not seem like a good or even useful idea, i'm pretty sure it will only ever be used by people that do not own an Arcane Helmet...

You heard the man DE. No more alternate helmets for any frame created before Nekros.

I dont think many people have the arcanes for him, or for anyone anymore. I mean there are plenty of new players daily who probably dont even know what arcane helms even are.

  • Fixed Carrier Sentinels not sucking in Sigils and other item drops.

 

This is nice, but the Carrier's Vacuum is still really broken.

What I think the problem is:

 

As far as I can tell, it happens when Carrier tries to pull in more energy orbs than you have room for. The excess energy orbs are left floating around you unable to be collected, but Carrier keeps running Vacuum the whole time and never lets those energy orbs or anything else collected by Vacuum after that be collected by the player.

 

I need to test it to know for sure, but I think it should be easy enough to test: Kill enemies and find energy orbs at a leisurely pace until max energy. Then kill some more so multiple energy orbs drop in a small area. Then use any ability that won't move those energy orbs or spend more energy than you would get from those orbs (e.g. Use Fireball, but don't use Greedy Pull). You should have Carrier pull in energy with Vacuum, but now be stuck with energy orbs floating overhead, along with anything else you pick up after that.

New Warframe Augments:

  • Nyx - Chaos - Chaos Sphere: For a % duration of Chaos, any enemy entering the effect radius will be affected by Chaos.  This effect radius decreases over time.

And so, Chaos is "recastable" once again, but in the form of a bandaid mod...

Conclave Changes

 

  • Weapons in the Conclave Arsenal will now display their Impact, Puncture and Slash values.
  • The amount of ammo collected from ammo pickups has been increased.
  • Ammo pool is now capped at the amount of ammo you start with.
  • Frost's Freeze damage has been reduced in PvP.
  • Ember's Fireball damage  has been  reduced in PvP.
  • Mag's Pull damage  has been reduced in PvP.
  • Volt's Shock damage  has been reduced in PvP.
  • Excalibur's Slash Dash damage has been increased in PvP.
  • Oberon's Smite damage has been decreased in PvP.
  • Strun’s damage has been increased in PvP.
  • MK1 Strun’s damage has been  increased in PvP.
  • MK1 Braton’s damage has been decreased in PvP.
  • Strun Wraith’s damage has been  decreased in PvP.
  • All Latron series weapon damage has been decreased in PvP.
  • Daikyu’s damage has been decreased in PvP.

To be fair the Daikyu's damage, as far as I can tell the past few days, one hits every frame. Even Chroma's 3rd ability with max % armor rating increase.

 

Beyond that, ehh. Other then Daikyu's tweak and a few others, the decrease was probably very minimal. Atleast from what I can tell. Like the Strun Wraith for example, I'm still doing pretty decent damage overall, so complaints here lol.

The Latron series is an odd ball though. I mean if you were Nyx (which I mainly use in pvp), or any other squishy frame, you would get 1 to 2 hit, over some other frames which could take more. I mean it wasn't so bad, just a bit harder for survivalbility. Not sure how it's going to pan out though now with some of the bulkier frames. But hey, time will tell~

I know, but its pretty disappointing how little DE has pushed out considering its just about 6 months into the year. 

There's a lot in the works, so I am sure the second half of the year will be rife with new content. We did just have 2 events in one, as well, and there are at least fixes and new augments coming in semi-regularly.

 

To everyone who complains about "No new ______" or "Still no fix for ________" keep in mind Rome wasn't built in a day folks, and the Romans had more bodies on hand than DE. I guess since I have been here for 2 years I have become a bit more patient with DE than some other players, but remember folks, patience is a virtue. Also, for all the "Still no fix" people, keep bumping the threads related to those bugs, or make one instead of filling the patch note threads with this repetitive nonsense. One of the biggest reasons I usually never read past page 1 of patch threads is because of all the unwarranted complaining that goes on in them that could be taking place elsewhere.
