Objectives very confusing

I noticed this issue since the first minutes I played the game.

It seems to appear commonly that my team is running around like headless chickens not knowing how to progress further through the map.

Can't pick up stuff (like that rune-thing).

The entire team running around for about 20 minutes already not knowing what to do.

-Where can I view mission Objectives?

-The exclamation mark stays at the same room all the time and the team does not seem to find a way to solve this

(Rune-Room)

It's just frustrating and Objectives declaration should be optimized.

The artifact pick up is currently bugged.

As for the rest, It's pretty obvious what you have to do, voice prompts and makers on the map...

There should definitely be a display in the UI when you press the button to show teammates that shows the objective and the mini-objective (ie: 10 melee kills), though.

Well, M Prime was bugged last night but I hear they are fixing that. I assume that is what you are talking about when you mean the "rune thing". So that should be fixed.

In general, I give the game a lot of leeway b/c it is closed beta and for a CB it is gorgeous. I mean, what a great looking game and the aesthetics/designs are unique but very cool. Anyway, point being there will be a lot of changes coming down the road I'm sure and one I think they definitely need is some kind of vertical/height indicator on the objective marker. Give it red pips if the objective is below me, green pips if it's above, or something like that.

Still, like I said, give it time as this is still CB.

A 3d map would be awesome actually. I think it would be cool if the Warframe held out its hand and projected a 3D hologram of the map from its palm.

sorry, but that sounds A LOT like deadspace.

this game already feels similar to deadspace during infected missions, why do we need a similar map?

im still waiting for the rest of the necromorphs to make their appearence.... can anyone say infested tentacle babies that throw lasers at you?

A cool idea used in other games is still a cool idea.

a cool idea in a game that already feels so much like another may a good idea, but its not an original idea. there are some things you can get away with such as minimaps, and others you cant. especcially when its very clear you took inspiration from another game.

the map system in GEIST would work here, or maybe the one in timsplitters.

dont twist my words.

we cant take something ELSE from deadspace, especcially when a major part of the game is so obviously based on deadspace.

that why looking at things from other games is good - looking into the same game just makes it a bad copy.

Except I don't agree it has copied Dead Space at all.

What major part of the game? I'm sure most of the designs came way before deadspace with the original Dark Sector concepts. There are videos predating Dead Space that show these things.

It wouldn't have to be identical, and other games have used 3d maps as well.
