Also, (again I shall ask), will we ever get the ability to put Sigils in more places? Such as our helmets?

 

Will you guys ever consider releasing more primes in between Prime Access packages?

Steve any info about mission crafting?

Will it be something similar to maps from Path of Exile? If so, what are your plans for rewards and mission modifiers? Need ideas?

Also, parkour 2.0 seems to focus a lot on movement in the air, what about more options while on the ground? Maybe faster backflips, ability to jump while side rolling, etc?

Any plans on creating a cold melee weapon, we have each element as a melee but cold.

I have a few questions:

1) There are many corpus and grineer weapons in game, but enemies using lesser than half of them. Do you have any plans on this?

2) What about focus system? Do you abandon it?

3) Any plans on adding more tiles in existing tilesets?

4) What about replaying quests?

5) Should we hope for crossplatform multiplayer?

Once everything starts to settle down a bit after the next update will their be any plans to work on making melee'ing a little..."better", for lack of a better word?

 

Not wanting to just whine about this, but for the most part melee seems really...off, in the main game. A few examples include - 

 

1.Melee tends to have little to no advantage to gun-play, with guns severely outclassing melee damage (outside of a few min-maxed builds that even then still fall short of min-maxed gun builds), Guns already also have the big advantage of being ranged (aside from short range continuous beam weapons), making melee a riskier option with no real upside,

 

2. The general gameplay of "maining" your melee weapon feels incredibly clunky, for a variety of different reasons.

 

Many weapons (with or without stance mods) have "default attacks" that makes your character move forward, which makes melee combat frustrating as it disrupts your flow and can send you careening past the enemies you actually want to hit, or send you face forward into stuff like lasers or missiles with you having no way to stop it mid-attack.

 

Melee also has no really good way to deal with high-threat targets such as Gunners or Bombards outside of "hopefully stun/stagger them and mash the attack key" since a majority of the time those threats tend to not use their flimsy melee attack and instead either keep shooting point blank (which you can't dodge) or do their AoE slam (which you can dodge), which makes engaging them a high-risk action if you can't burst them down fast enough.

 

Parrying is completely dependent on a mod that by itself only gives you a chance to actually parry someone, which makes it a fairly un-fun mechanic since it takes out any kind of skill. Parrying is also a pain because of how near brain-dead the general AI of enemies is when you get into melee-range, with them maybe doing a swipe or two before just standing there in place and unloading bullets on you, leading you to just politely stand in front of them holding down your block button. 

 

Dodge-rolling also does not help melee all that much due to how slow it is, and fact that you cannot use it during mid-attack to cancel the attack and dodge an enemy's attack, such as missiles or projectiles.

 

Certain bosses that use a Weakpoint System almost entirely shuts down melee-players - Vay Hek during his first phase is nigh-untouchable, Sargas Ruk cannot be hurt by melee (though that might've been terrible lag too, but I've tried running against him and hit his weakpoints point blank with melee), and Lephantis requires you to either leap around like a maniac or do something silly like stand right between it's heads to deal a little damage each time.

Can we get wallrun back? At least visually? Many people here agree it looks far more appealing than the wallhop.

What's the current progress on the Pre-Corpus Valkyr skin, we saw Minky work on the helmet but what has happened since then?

Any more details we can have on the 'Umbra' Excal deal? Is it gonna be a skin or an actual separate frame? What about the rumors that we're getting the 'unprimed' version from the shown picture?

Will the 'forgotten' melee weapon types (ie, Machetes, single Daggers, Scythes and Throwables) ever get their respective buffs?

I will keep asking the following questions

 

 

Since the dark sword and dark dagger are receiving new and unique models, will the heat sword/dagger and ceramic dagger/cronus receive similar treatment? As a side note, could the same idea go for the ether sword and ether dagger?

 

Again, is the idea of a dark greatsword, heat greatsword, ceramic greatsword, and ether greatsword a possibility? I think it would be interesting to have a small-medium-large type layout for these weapons

 

Will we ever see a new flamethrower or a flamethrower rework? The ones we have can be pitifully weak, the actual flamethrower we have doesn't have an automatic flame proc but shoots flames, and they can achieve alarming ranges for what they are supposed to be

 

Will we see new weapon augments that are weapon specific? The ones shown in the recent devstream were weapon class specific, not weapon specific

 

Any ideas on what you will do for excalibur augments? I think an augment that gave him a nikana or greatsword for exalted blade would be an interesting addition

 

Will we ever see weapons with varied channeling stats? The current cookie cutout 1.5x damage and 5 efficiency is boring and doesn't allow for unique and interesting channeling builds or channeling focused weapons. I still personally believe that ether weapons should be a class of weapons meant for channeling builds

 

Final question I can remember for now that is serious.

 

Will we ever see event type infested weapons? We have wraith and vandal, which are often associated with grineer and corpus weapons respectively, but we have yet to see the infested receive the same treatment. Imagine a scourge embolist or a plague torid (prefix pending)

 

 

As a final joking question or 2

 

Viking helmet or armor for excalibur?

Massive fiery greatsword or icy greatsword? Basically elemental greatsword to fulfill my dreams of having forstmourne or the real surtur's sword

Well, the mandatory buff to the supra question was here, but now we have a confirmation that its coming, so yay, lets get back and relax.

 

Now the questions:

 

1-¿more syndicate content ? me( and probably a lot of players) im siting on tons of rep stocked on medallions, not that they need a nerf, but for now im just stockpillin for a "just in case" More augments/new round of syndicate weaps(primariy/mele) would be nice, well, we can get archwing stuff from the syndicates, now that archwing is geting a revamp

 

2-Raid rewards-¿how the new raid(coming in a long time) will afect the current one rewards?¿any posibility to get some kind of "arcane transmuter"? atm, getting the arcanes you want its a combination of dayli raids wit a slim chance to get wat you want, even more wen its uncommon.

 

3-Portin to win10-¿we will se some kind of "port" to win10? in the way of remaking things on dx12, or even shop integration like other games( lol, for example( im not 100% sure btw)

 

4-Humbra series and primes-¿we will get some lore out of this? if you saw some threats on the forums it has been teoriced that the "humbra prime" are the original warframes, ¿can we get some kind of clarification? ¿or at least a yes/no if its role its coming anytime soon?

 

5-Weaps rebalance-¿progress on shotgun buff?¿same on snipers?¿return of the melee charge atacks?

 

6-U17-¿any advance when it will be released?

1. What exactly are the mechanics planned for the improved genetic foundry?

 

2. Will Catbrows be released with Catbrow armor? Or will that come after Kubrow armor? Or possibly Kubrow armor will be cross compatible with catbrows?

 

3. Is the buffed Supra going to be more of an end-game weapon, or a mid-tier weapon?

 

4. Has an official name for Catbrows been chosen yet?

 

5. Are Nikana Prime, Kunai Prime, and Excalibur Umbra going to released like a Prime-access type thing, or just slapped into the game at some random point in time?
