The most intense rivalry I can think of are the Celtics and Rangers. For those of you who haven't heard of them the Celtics and the Rangers are twp very good football clubs from Glasgow Scotland who absolutely hate eachother. A good chunk of that hate is due to religion which they are having a fair bit of difficulty getting over. Oh yeah I am pretty sure fans of both sides keep track of former members of the opposite team(example: me and my brothers went to see two random football matches with the Celtics being in the second one but a good portion of their supporters showed up early to boo at a former rangers player.)
