Snipetron Removed From Store

I recently reset my account, and previously I had been a fan of the Snipetron before the Paris was introduced.

 

With the addition of the new sniper rifle, I was curious to see how it compared to the Snipetron, only to find when I went to the Market (or the arsenal), that the Snipetron wasn't there.

Apparently it was retired without any advanced notification from DE. If you had your eyes on the Snipetron, you're too late.

Do you know this as a fact and, if so, how? I doubt they would replace a weapon that people already have; also, these two rifles have different stats, so they're clearly different weapons.

Corpus weapons are not meant to shoot bullets...

 

Thus it was removed...I forgot but Grineeer said it and the weapon is gone forever now.

A happy coincidence I was lvling mine at the time, it's a collectors piece now.

 

Still going to sell it; it's not that great, and the replacement seems to be better in every respect.

Strike that. The replacement doesn't naturally pen. armour.
