Personally I love the game, but I also love Xbox 360 as do all my friends, who all say they want MMO's on console but since that can't exactly happen this game is the next best thing. in fact one of my good buddies says he'd definitely play Warframe more If it was availible on console. just imagine how cool It would be to play on console. in my oppinion It would make the game much more fun and cooperative and profitable.

there are adaptors for wireless xbox controllers, granted its cheaper to just buy a wired controller and you can have a spare controller with this option as well

Come on guys, releasing WF on Xbox would be easy.

All DE would have to do is:

-add autoaim/aim-assist

-make up redundant achievements

-massively downgrade graphical fidelity (new old engine perhaps)

-rework the netcode to make it so Xbox WF only works within the XBL network, because Microsoft doesnt do crossplatform gaming

-come up with big piles of money for the xbox devkit license and for subsequent patches (a patch costs DE only ~40k $)

 

All of those are clearly things that can easily be done in one properly used afternoon :rolleyes:

I'd love the console release as well but an update submitted to microsoft/sony requires a prolonged time for them to authenticate the patch before releasing onto their server. You will not have the weekly update like what we are having for the pc version right now. They will probably bump up the prize of the plats/items as it is costlier to develop for console games.

 

 

I dont think console spec can handle Warframe.

 

If my ancient PC can handle the game on lowest settings, i think PS3/X360 can at least achieved the medium/high graphical settings locked at 30FPS.

If you knew anything about how Xbox Live! works then you'd know Digital Extremes would go bankrupt within a year. It costs $50,000 dollars to patch a game on Xbox Live!. Within the last 24 hours we have had Update 8 and 2 hot fixes, so $150,000.

 

This is the reason Xbox doesn't have MMO's and another reason why the 360 is a terribly scummy console.

 

Now Playstation 3 on the other hand is a much more friendly console.

wireless controllers can still work with a computer you know , just need some software and your finished or a driver that allows your controller to be picked up by wireless/bluetooth

FYI submitting a patch to Sony for authentification also requires the game company to fork out a sum of money. Let's not change this thread into a console debate(because that is what i get from reading your last sentence)

well, now you all should know (if not already) that WF is releasing to PS4 and Xbox One is getting F2P games as well, In fact I do believe World of Tanks beta is coming to 360 so how a 'bout you stereotypical people hold your tongue about this FPS S#&$ (I'm pretty sure xbox 360 can handle high graphics at about 40 FPS)

 

P.S. it would widen the margin of costumers available to Warframe

If PS4 gets Warframe then the Xbox might get StarWars 1313 around the same time. Everything tends to balance up with console releases. They both know they need each other as competition so putting each other out of business is never a good idea. If Warframe takes off on PS4 I would imagine it will appear on Xbox due to popular demand anyway. Not hard putting Pc to Xbox as its windows based aswell.

Yes, Warframe is going to the PS4. Because Sony outright approached DE. MS hasn't.

It most likely can't. It's a matter of memory. The Xbox 360 has 512 megs shared between GPU and RAM, with a midrange GPU that was released almost a decade ago. That isn't enough to run Warframe at 40 FPS.
