... A lot of very lucky crits? I dont know, he may have just over killed a lot of guys... And I've gotten half as many kills but twice the damage as my friend, mostly because of ancients in infested... You'd have to figure out what your guys basic damage is.

gorgon = more bullets = more dmg

hek = less bullets = less dmg

by bullets i mean the amount of shoots who landed on enemy enough to kill him

when i use it i only see 3 numbers on enemys who died, yet with my gorgon i see more numbers when shooting at them

So your saying you overkill more with the Gorgon?

^^makes no sense. So if I shoot once for 1 mil damage, and someone else shoots 100 thousand times for 1 dmg, I did less dmg because I shot less bullets? ha.

The problem is either overkill, and the Gorgon has higher overkill potential?(how does that work?) Or, the calculation does not register HEK damage correctly - either way this should be fixed or this stat misleading. I would hope this stat is intended to show my contribution to the mission if I focused on all the high health enemies and only killed a few, vs. my friend who might kill many more enemies that have low health.

It does make sense.

think of it like this

Currently (and don't quote me on this) the game sets damage percents based on how many shots land, not based on actual damage.

So, if you shoot them more with the gorgon instead of one shotting them with a shotgun, then you (based on how the game formulates the percents) theoretically do more damage.

So, hypothetically, if you used a pistol and shoot them 100k times for 1 damage

and you shot them 50k times with 10 damage

the first pistol would deal more damage even though it deals less damage per shot and had to be shot more.

I must be a little screwy. I've been using the STRUN and noticed my damage done is always far below what everyone else is doing. There was one game where I had 30 more kills than the other guy on my team (who died early on) and he still had around 10% more damage done than me.

I't pretty embarrassing ending a game with 18% damage done. Especially since I love shotguns.
