TheSeannachaidh
It is based on health lost, so yes. That said armour mods are definitely still worth having on Warframes that are armour based tanks. Edited August 2, 2015 by TheSeannachaidh
(PSN)gino1313
Yes. Rage bases your energy gain off of health loss. Blocking is not affected by armor, but it does contribute to your overall damage reduction. So if blocking is 20%, then you are taking 80% damage, then if you are using valkyr then you get about 5-10% damage that actually gets to you. Hope that helps. Darzk
To clarify, if you take 20 health damage, you still gain 8 energy. It's just that it takes a lot more incoming damage in order to take 20 health damage, after armor and blocking.
OniGanon
Yes. However, this shouldn't stop you from taking Steel Fiber on high armour frames. After all, in order to use Rage, you first have to survive.
