Warframe is a video game about jumping around, killing things, and getting loot. There's no point or reason for anything other than the simple male/female genders to be in a sci-fi game in which the closest things even related to baby making are the recent revelations in the Natah quest, and then how the Grineer widely use cloning to supply their population. Thought we talked about this a week ago. You can believe what you want, but when DE gives their official word, the factual info is out and that's just how it is. Edit: Also because tenno aren't fish. Everything that you show, that you create has an impact on the world, specially when you are representing people or characters. Everything represents what you believe in, and that isn't always conscious. When you (don't) create characters with traits (something that happens to pretty much every character ever created), your opinion of them will pass through them. When that trait is gender or sex (or the lack of it), and since we live in a time when this stuff is getting talked about (and thank god for that. though there are some backfirings due to less...empathical people (but lets not talk about this)), it is natural that both the community and the development team will put some (or a lot) of thought into it.
