Can't Join Other Players Missions

I recently got back into playing Warframe after taking time off to finish school. I updated to the new Echoes of The Sentient gameplay and things are going fine....except I can't enter open missions with other people. Regular missions, void missions, etc. I just get kicked out. And if I am hosting something, other players complain about lag or something. I really want help with this because I like to farm void missions with randoms and so I will have no way to farm for Nova and Nyx prime without joining others games T.T
