Please Log Into Your Warframe Account ... Later

Hey folks,

 

I can't seem to get past this initial log-in screen. I've played Warframe before on an older machine, so I know my credentials are good and I can play. My problem is this log-in screen. It says "Please log into your Warframe account." and when I enter my user name and password nothing happens. I know the user/pw combination is good because ... well, I used it to log into here. The log in screen just sits there doing nothing, and if I hit the x to close, it says "abort the update process and quit?" But there is no feedback of anything happening. It just sits there - for reference, I was able to play on the non-Steam download; this time is launching via Steam. I don't know why that would matter ... either way it isn't working
