Time/effort Vs Reward

lately, I've been noticing an issue with this game in time and effort put in to the game vs the Reward. This is mostly do to the RNG at higher levels and the current alert system.

For example, I've killed Phroid ten times. Of those ten times, I've gotten nano spores and plastids 9 out of 10 times. Mods have also been dropping like candy. I get 10+ mods a run on Phroid. All of them are common/uncommon power mod duplicates. All resource drops have been nano spores as well.

The Alert system is also currently the only way to access a lot of game content and is starting to get over saturated with basic rewards.

The defense mode (the closest thing the game currently has to an end-game) often rewards +Fire Damage at all levels. (Didn't those guys that make it to Wave 80 get +Fire on like half of the rewards?)

To fix this, higher level enemies should be changed to give rarer rewards but keep them as frequent as they are in lower levels.

The other key change would be merging the Alert rewards with Defense rewards so players can actually put effort in to the game to get rewards out of it instead of just following twitter. This would also reduce the strain on the Alert system so it isn't so overly saturated like it currently is.

Ultimately, although I agree with you, this system makes them money. That's why it's setup like this.

Unfortunately yes, but I really want to support and enjoy the game but it simply isn't happening at this point.

No reward is worth the months of grinding it'll take for a small clan to make a dojo.

*pats back*

a cheese burger will always be made up of bread, meat and cheese

the question is, who's bringing the bread, the meat and the cheese?

If I order a cheese burger and the waiter walks up to me and tells me I'm either going to have to pay fifty bucks for the bread, thirty for the cheese and seventy for the meat, or go out and sit in front of the restaurant and wait until a wild pig walks by to get my own meat then I'm just going to go to another place.

People used to play games because of the fun gameplay.

I hear strange tales of people who still do...

Exciting gameplay like...watching the twitter feed! And running the same missions over and over because they prioritize this money grubbing grind fest over giving us something new to run!

You missed my point completely. You are too far jaded.

I hope in time you see the error of your logic.

I'm guessing your point was to just enjoy the game.

That's a fair point, but this game does get old and the only new content they are adding is pretty much paid only.

As for enjoying the game, different people enjoy games in different ways.

About twenty minutes ago actually. Got my daily log in rewards (the exact same thing as yesterday. Woo...) and ran a credit alert and then logged out because none of my clan was on and playing with randoms tends to be an absolute nightmare.

Valid points as well. But you can't get milk from a chicken, no matter how hard you squeeze.

There are tons of new games out there. Indie games have exploded onto the scene as of late. Lots of games deserve our attention, and it actually makes this game feel more fresh if you take breaks and try out other games.

These are simply suggestions and opinions, though. You are free to voice your opinion and play in whatever style you choose. I'm just here doing the same.

Do you not see any irony between your first quote VS your second?

There's no irony there. The dojo system is BS for small clans so we're not focusing on farming all our resources asap unless they do something about it. Boy would we have egg on our face if we dedicated the next 48 hours of our lives to completing that hallway and just as we finished, they decided to cut all resource requirements in half.

I think I see your problem. You don't know about the void keys.

Have you even seen an orokin level yet? Dude, there is a ton of unexplored content that you don't even know about...

1.) This game ruins Dojos for small clans

2.) My clan never has anyone online to play with

Yup! It's the game's fault.

Yes, god forbid the rest of my clan not be on 24/7. Not being on for one small window of time when I did to get my log in reward certainly is "Never has anyone online"

Too bad they're either pay to get or you're at the RNG's mercy. And you need them to get the forma, so double RNG is great.

All you're doing is spouting hyperbole bull crap that you've seen others say on the forum.

I tried to help you twice, and twice you've refused to read. You make me sad.

So work hard to get them or pay for them? And you're not willing to do either? And hell, it's actually pretty easy to get Void keys, too.

Because the middle of prime time for NA is clearly 24/7

There is no matter of "working hard" though. Its entirely random, which is the biggest problem. If there was an actual way to work towards getting them then it would be excellent, but the only options are to hope you get them from daily log-ins or alerts, or just farm defense missions and hope you get something other than fire bullets.

Because everyone in the world lives in north america.

Of course not... but I assumed you were since you were logging in during prime-time for NA; forgive me if I was mistaken... that being said....

why on earth would you be in a clan where nobody is on when you have time to play... that's kinda strange but to each his own... If you have a small clan of inactives it's not the fault of the game that you're never going to make progress.
