Artekkor
So, i was really happy when i saw new Nightwatch Camo bundle and immediately bought it and already cosplaying as Grineer Elite, but then something suddenly stroke me: THIS IS EXACTLY THE COLORS THAT WRAITH WEAPONS USE. Did we really just found the origins of Wraith weapons?! Are they really a weapon choice of Grineer elite troopers of Nightwatch?! Holy spaggeti, gotta cosplay the crap out of it! Rhino Prime Wraith is coming to bring justice to the System!
RoboticApplesWithLasers
the designs are different, Rakta also has red and black, but the wraith-ness was removed Nightwatch =/= wraith
VexPrime
Have you been around when Specters of liberty was live? We recieved "rakta syandana" which had wraith colors. Red Veil makes wraith weapons. That's it. Sorry for disappointing you.

BloodSage09
to be honest they were poorly designed...but then again it was 60 plat only so... and dont even get me started on the new syandana . it is exactly the same as the 1 u get from steel meridian except 1 side is pulled up and tied to the top

Like, EXACTLY. Dark violet (which i managed to find in Lotus Color Palette) combined with bright red. No matter what people will say: i can't unsee it now. Nigthwatch - Grineer Wraith confirmed

Artekkor
There's one flaw in your theory though. Latron Wraith. Yeah, i guess... Well, there is 2 explanations: 1) Grineer realized how awesome Latron is and upgraded it for their purposes 2) Nightwatch is somehow related to those who made Wraith weapons, because i swear it's exactly the same and i'm not going to just let it pass through like nothing happend. You know Grineer would never use Tenno weapons. If it were truly a Wraith skin pack, it'd be dubbed as such. Besides, the Wraiths aren't really Dark Violet, more of a black with a very reflective and tinted surface. Yet old Tyl Regor used Skana, and they have Lynx in one of their Vaults on spy missions. While first is no longer relevant, second shows that they do sometimes use weapons of their enemies (unless Lynx is actually still Corpus, he just happens to wake up when you fail at being unnoticed, which is unlikely)

Personally, I think Wraith is just a different take on the same thing the Vandal is - "The Braton Vandal has been customized by the Tenno with a blue-green metallic finish, and Lotus branding on the grips." That's what I would have figured. Special, adaptized weapons customized by the Tenno.
Artekkor
He fights Grineer in sight as well. He's more for capture/study. He does? Never saw that... Though i never failed to wake him up in the first place. Well that leaves us only with one possible explanation: Nightwatch is somehow related to creators of Wraith Weapons, i don't know how but they must be, because those color choices are 90% the same. Yes, those skins don't use Wraith special texture, but they do use the same color customization when on default. There is a possibility of DE making this coincidence by a random chance, but somehow i still think that there is something behind. Besides even, though there is Strun and Latron wraith, but all other wraith weapons that i know are Grineer made, like Machete, Karak, Viper, Gorgon. 2 tenno weapons against 4(?) Grineer and not a single Corpus. Edit: Crap, there is Braton Wraith too. DE why u do this. Edit 2: Crap, it's Braton Vandal. Guess i'm not a specialist in those. This lore is killing me. To be honest, I just went on and previewed them with one of my Wraith weapons... Maybe it's your settings because the shades seem off to me. The pattern too. No red swirls. There's red splotches sure, but the design is different.You. I like you. I'm saving this picture. Edited August 13, 2015 by WingedCrusade
