LoopHoss
I'm mostly curious about the Orokin Catalyst / Reactor in the market? Not sure what they are for other than the description on them. What does Supercharging do? How do I do it? Thanks
Nirrti
Supercharging means that it unlocks the skill tree up to rank 30 (and the fourth skill on warframes) for the item you supercharge. Catalyst are for supercharging weapons, Reactors are for Warframes. You can also get blueprints for them from alert missions with mystery rewards, but it's a small chance. For example, check the upgrade tree for a weapon/warframe that isn't supercharged, and on the top left corner, under the weapon name/icon/upgrade point counter it displays a button that says "upgrade", if you have an Orokin Catalyst. If you hover your mouse above it it'll display the "full" upgrade tree. Edited January 18, 2013 by Nirrti
FOLTHEON
When you upgrade a weapon, you can see that in the upper left corner there is an option to enable even more upgrades. To enable that option, you must use an Orokin Catalyst for weapons and an Orokin Reactor for Warframes. You can either buy those or wait for an alert that has "?" listed as a reward. Those alerts have a chance of awarding you with a blueprint that will let you build either the Reactor or the Catalyst.
negutivzero
In short, you need them for upgrading your equipment. And it's possible to get them without having to pay real money.
