Enfo
I don't suppose this is intended as 100% is max. Just a heads up. EDIT: Nevermind seeing as just found a 150% crit damage mod. Edited January 19, 2013 by Enfo
Stygi
I wouldn't use it if it was blue.
FuzioNda1337
huh why not? if you go melee only its great....
Lichthammer
Good Thing: +150% on CRIT DMG Bad Thing: 0% CRIT CHANCE
AreWeHuman
Good Thing: +150% on CRIT DMG Bad Thing: 0% CRIT CHANCE If you spec specfically for it you can really make stuff out of your crits. It's better for melee for the most part though.
Retni
100% can't be max. I found a 123% critical damage mod the other night.
Guest DarkAuthority
You can get +300% armor on a warframe (4x ~70%), so why not +150% crit dmg on a weapon? Anything's possible. That's what stunning about this game. Build your own setup in a way you see fit and keep on rocking.
Sealgaire
+150% crit damage is the max for melee weapons. At least I'm assuming it is because I've seen several at +143%. +100% crit damage is the maximum on combo mods, however. And yea, stacking a few of these guys along with a ton of +attack rate mods on a fast weapon will wreck bosses. Stygi
Ah... my melee weapon is a little low for stacking crit, but I can see how stacking crit dmg mods would be worth it, even though the super high damage is a bit unconsistent.
direcyphre
Percentages translate into additive quantities relating to your current total. If you did 100 crit damage, a 100% mod would make it 200 crit damage (or whatever it is calculating against). In general it's not nearly as useful as critical chance. Critical hit damage is, as intended to be, already higher than standard damage. Edited January 19, 2013 by direcyphre
AreWeHuman
In general it's not nearly as useful as critical chance. Critical hit damage is, as intended to be, already higher than standard damage. Typically when one stacks crits, there is an ideal ratio for stacking crit between crit chance/crit damage/basedps. You should be stacking all of them, in the proper/ideal amount. It's kind of a given, breh. Agian speaking specifically for melee, the crit damage is really only applicable to things that can stand up to a barrage of attacks anyway.
