Not Gaining Cephalon Simaris Reputation

I've been trying to get the Simular weapon from Cephalon Simaris for weeks now and I've noticed that I have not been getting reputation. My daily cap is 10,000 and never seem to go down after I scan targets for Simaris. I am stuck at 50,547 reputation... Can anyone help me?

no. I don't get any for several days now

You are scanning stuff right? With the simaris scanner?

OK I had 24.541 standing, bought a core from Simaris for 10.000 and scanned a random KI on a mission. Now I'm gaining standing again. I'll see if this holds up to a synthesis targed. If not I'll post again. THX, so far :)

 

Am I supposed to get standing by having simaris' sigil on warframes during normal missions or is it just an amplifier for the scanning?

 yes, I scanned with a buddy and I got displayed the standing as the orange font.
