Yeah you will need to bring CC frames but my biggest piece of advise to any new raiders (as I was just on this past weekend) is this --->

If you don't have time to really figure out what is going on before hand, during the mission just stick to doing what the veteran Raid players are asking you to do. Don't question it lol. Don't run off and go do something else unless you get lost (which happened to me a couple of times sadly) otherwise you might cause the entire team some grief. If they give you one job to do, just stick to that one job and you'll be fine. You can always figure things out on the next run or in between runs or simply observe what other players are doing while you are completing what's tasked to you.

Also pay attention to way points. if someone lays down a way point for you, go to it. Don't question it...unless you know the other person is an a__hole and trying to mess around with you lol.
