Weapon Abilities/passives

It would add some depth to melee weapons if they had unique attributes or abilities that reflect their type.

Some examples: (Keep in mind some of these already exist)

Daggers: Bonus stealth damage

Sword and Shield: Blocks 100% damage instead of the damage reduction of other melee

Claws: Ignores a small percentage of armor

Hammers: Knocks down enemies on ground slam

Nikanas: Bonus spin attack damage

Throwing weapons: Able to be thrown

The idea is not to make melee overpowered, but to make the different types feel more unique. I'm curious as to what the community thinks and to see some "attributes" thought up by people more creative than me.
