Dead At The End

I just finished an Extermination mission at the beginning of Eris, I forget the name of the stage (I can't check right now, because of the following)

I completed the mission as usual, went to the extraction, got on the ship and flew away while looking at my exp and recieved monies and mods and stuff, and then the screen went to black. and stayed black...

And then there was a reddish flash, and heartbeat noises, as if I had gotten killed!

Then it went to black again, and is stuck that way. I can't do a single thing short of exiting the game, all I see is a black screen, with the missions ambient sounds playing.
