Hallo all, my name is xochild and I came up with this to spread some love to Archwing because I keep hearing a lot of players say they don't like it and want it axed. Personally, I think it's brilliant, different, fast, and a lot of fun. All it's missing is to be expanded, so here I am with some fan created content to expand it. Please let me know what you all think!

My proposed raid is basically a raid in the style of the current Law of Retribution raid.

The idea is based on space, possibly onboard one of Vey Hek's precious Fomorians to suit the rationalisation for the size of the map, and will be composed of three aria.

Here's an executive summary:

The objective of the mission is to infiltrate a Fomorian running experiments on Orokin technology to try and upgrade a Fomorian, but run into a roadblock in the form of a Grineer listening outpost. After disabling the outpost, a fleet of Corpus capital ships arrive and engage the Fomorian. As the Tenno breach the Fomorian, the Corpus do as well. While the Grineer are occupied by the invading Corpus forces, Alad V activates the Orokin technology and phases the Fomorian: resulting in a Void-like landscape within the Fomorian. The Tenno must then make a choice: help the Corpus defeat the Grineer, or destroy the Fomorian outright, sacrificing the Orokin technology that the Lotus wants as they can no longer communicate with her or anyone outside the massive ship. Depending on their choice, the Tenno will either have to fight "Waveform" bosses (sort of like Corrupted Vor, an upgraded version of each boss) or have to make their way to through the incorrectly phased ship to 'sabotage' the Fomorian's power core and escape the decaying ship. The Tenno then have to use their Archwings to eliminate the forces the remaining Corpus send to avenge their fallen and destroy the Corpus capital ships in Archwing-Sabotage style.

And they all lived happily ever after once upon a time-oh wait, that's the wrong production xD

Now, for the details.

Opening aria:

All 8 Tenno spawn at a "safe distance" from the Fomorian (likely behind some kind of asteroid-based mining or space station) and must proceed to disable a Grineer listening outpost used to spy on their Corpus enemies. The Tenno must work their way through sentries (able to activate alarms which will summon large waves of enemies), drones, and space versions of the Rampart until they reach the outpost. Once at the outpost, the Tenno must decide how best to allocate their resources (and builds) into two teams to infiltrate and disable the Grineer outpost (so basically, a mixture of Spy, Mobile Defence, Survival, and Sabotage mission). One team will proceed through the inside of the outpost, breaking into Grineer vaults to steal an item/code/programme, which they must then take to a node of some sort near the exterior of the outpost to overload a part of the listening outpost's systems which takes X number of minutes and must defend from Grineer security forces. The reason each node (potentially also the vaults to offer a choice between stealth and assault) is near the exterior of the outpost, is that the team on the outside (still in Archwing mode) that did not enter the outpost can provide support in the form of bombarding and shooting through the walls and/or windows of the outpost to help the team inside defend the node during the Mobile Defence part of the aria; the downside to receiving help (for the team inside) is that the outpost loses structural integrity (this draws inspiration from pre-established Survival missions) which, and only if structural integrity reaches 0%, then life support will be vented, at which point, either the mission can fail, or can be made much more difficult because shields and health will continually drain.. This process continues a number of times (probably 3 to fit with the game's current system which would fit with the programme's engine - not a programmer so I don't know much about this sort of thing) until all the nodes have been overloaded. At this point, the team inside will begin the Sabotage part of the aria, and have a limited amount of time to lower the shield around the listening outpost's core before making a break for their entry point to the outpost (where their Archwings are waiting for them to exit the outpost and prepare for the second aria), which is in an a part of the outpost that can only be accessed by the Archwing team outside. The Archwing team (hereon referenced as the A-team) will then have to work their way through a short trench (think SWEIV Death Star trench run) into the centre of the outpost to destroy the core, similar to the Corpus Archwing Sabotage core, and then quickly exit. The A-team will have to balance destroying the core quickly (they should likely be on a timer before the shields reactivate and they fail) and giving the Warframe team (aka the W-team) enough time to safely exit the outpost and don their Archwings. After destroying the core, they should exit the outpost's centre with an adequate timer, just like in Corpus Archwing Sabotage missions.

End of first aria.

Second aria:

After disabling the listening outpost, the Tenno will be directed to assault the Fomorian. As the Tenno fight their way through various patrols and Grineer defence teams, the Lotus will speak to the Tenno that something is 'breaking from the Void'. Corpus capital ships will appear and begin an assault on the Fomorian and instruct the Tenno to continue on to the Fomorian running experiments with Orokin technology. The Tenno will then have to work their way through both Corpus AND Grineer forces in a Crossfire method until reaching the hull of the Fomorian. The Corpus will manage to breach the Fomorian's hull and both the Tenno and Corpus will enter the Fomorian. Once inside, the Tenno will split up from the Corpus and continue their crossfire until they reach Alad V and Vor fighting with Vey Hek over whether or not to use the Orokin technology now or leave and use it later (insert right proper dialogue by DE's fabulous workers). The Grineer end up activating the Orokin technology, which phases the ship and everyone inside it, and prevents communication between those inside the phased ship and those outside, including the Lotus. The Tenno then have to make a decision, they will have to either work with Corpus to disable the ship and prevent Vey Hek and Vor from using Orokin technology to cause an unimaginable disaster and recover the Orokin technology for the Lotus, or work against both factions to destroy the ship and the Orokin technology. Working with the Corpus pits the Tenno against the "Waveform" versions of the Grineer bosses with increased stats at the same time, whilst the latter option sets an uphill battle against both the Corpus AND Grineer Waveform bosses, whilst having to defend one player that must hack their way through multiple doors and eventually destroy the power core of the Fomorian in a Sabotage style. After finishing either task, the Tenno must then extract from the Fomorian which is set to go critical in (for example) 10 minutes, setting up the final aria.

Third aria:

WIth the Fomorian set to go critical and Tenno back in Archwings, the Lotus says something along the lines of "my worst fears about the Grineer using Orokin technology have been realised. Tenno, you must eliminate all witnesses. No one can ever know this ever occurred." The Tenno must then proceed to destroy all remaining Corpus captial ships (represented by a counter of say 5 ships) and x-number of remaining Corpus and Grineer units; all within the time limit of the Fomorian's power core going critical. To destroy a Corpus capital ship, the Tenno must decide how to best allocate their resources and make their way through trenches in the Corpus ships (much like the current Corpus Archwing-Sabotage tileset) which high-level enemies and the large double barreled turrets being active, until they come to the core of the ship and destroy it. Once all Corpus capital ships are destroyed and a certain number of enemies are defeated (say, around 2,5k to prevent players from simply rushing through with Itzals and destroying the ships without killing enemies, the counter could potentially be retroactive, so that the players have a bit of a head start from the first two aria), ORDIS will arrive in the Liset and take each Tenno to safety.

In keeping with the current method of having the regular and nightmare raid be different, the regular raid could feature the second option, whilst the nightmare version could feature the boss fights against Waveform versions of the bosses, as well as having two different ending scenes for players.
