J-3 Golem

• There will be a regular boss fight shipping in 17.5, but the Trial version will not

• The boss fight will be good practice for the Trial

• This is good for players that wish to experience J-3 without being forced into a Trial

Archwing

• HUD is being updated - enemies will no longer be displayed in mini-map, they will be tracked on screen

• There will be improved visibility of enemy units in general

• There will be more dogfight-ish battles, strongly encouraging movement while fighting

• There will be reduced grind to level up Archwing gear

• 2 new mission types coming

• Flight model is getting tweaked - it will be more skill based, with momentum

• Experimenting with Archwing sprint 2.0 - Afterburn mode

• Afterburn mode activates after 4 consecutive seconds of sprinting, an enhanced sprint will activate for even greater speed

Arcane Enhancements

• They're getting a designated screen for managing Enhancements

• The friction encountered with Enhancements in general is being reduced

• The time required to add and remove arcane enhancements will be removed

• The cost of the Arcane Distillers will be cut in half

Wu Kong (Monkey King)

• Wu Kong is a timed exlcusive for China

• He is at least 45 days away from Global Build

• Cloudwalking is a toggleable stealth ability that has energy drain based on movement, there is a stun effect when Wu Kong activates it

• Click
to see Wu Kong demonstrated along with Atlas

Atlas (Brawler Frame)

• Scott wished to return to simpler roots with Atlas' design

• Theme is Brawler/Earth

• Obtained from Quest/Boss Battle

• His first ability is a sliding punch; re-casting the ability within a certain time window will actually create a 'combo' that halves cost and doubles damage of subsequent casts

• Can create a rock barrier, which can then be launched as a projectile (steerable with the mouse)

• Has a CC ability that slows enemies, and upon prolonged exposure, petrifies enemies

• Atlas' ultimate summons 2 Rock Golems to fight - more Power Strength makes the Golems physically larger

• Click
to see Atlas demonstrated along with We Kong

• Click
to see Atlas demonstrate some powers

New weapons

• New Corpus Primary and Secondary weapons

• Secondary weapon is a wrist mounted weapon like Gammacor

• Primary is a split laser rifle - the two lasers are initially spread apart, and as the fire button is held, they converge on a single point, similar to Phage

• No official names yet

• Temple Guardian Rhino skin is virtually complete, and is coming with a matching hammer skin (the cat whiskers are not official)

Valkyr Re-Work

• Rip Line is getting similar combo mechanics to Atlas' punch; casts after the first will have a reduced cost, making it easier to swing repeatedly

• The casting animation for Rip Line will be quicker and stretch farther

• Valkyr's Hysteria will work like Exalted Blade - it will be toggleable and will only use weapon mods, not the weapon stats

• Pre-Corpus Valkyr skin will most likely be time-limited

• Click
to see Pre-Corpus Valkyr versus the new Corpus Modular Enemies

Corpus Modular Enemies

• Coming U 17.5

• Each Warframe power has been categorized - the Modular Corpus Enemies have helmets that can interrupt and disrupt certain categories

• This disruption effect can be blocked by terrain

• Their helmets can be removed with a well-placed shot, de-powering them

Multishot Changes

• Going to be very large in scope - this will affect all mandatory mods

• This will also change enemy scaling

• Will be addressing Serration as well

• Experimenting with base damage increasing as weapon levels up rather than being tied to a mod

• Players will be compensated in the event anything is taken from them

Console Update

• 17.4 update is being sent for cert early next week

• This will conain Synicate Primaries, but not the new Man of Few Words Quest

Other Stuff

• Handshake emote will change depending on Syndicate standing; it's not separate emotes that you can collect

• After the Void is 'exploded' Void Keys will still be useful

• Boar is returning after 17.5, but it's shaping up quite nicely - greatly updated appearance and function

• Devs are aware of and working on Syndicate proc effects ruining stealth attempts

• Peacemaker is getting re-worked - it will no longer cover 360 degrees, it will begin covering a large area, but that area will decrease as time passes, and damage will increase

• Equinox's Mend will be buffed to restore Shields as well as Health

• Snipetron's return via Project Undermine event hinted at by Rebecca

Just a little nitpick, I'm pretty sure that the Valkyr changes will be applied regardless of wether you're using the skin or not.

Hmm... Scott said "This skin comes with a power re-work for her" so it's unclear if he's referring to the re-work being attached to the skin, or simply releasing simultaneously. Upon first hearing it, I interpreted it as being attached to the skin, but I'll confess that seems an unlikely decision.

Woo thanks again Bunny!

Not a fan of Atlas' final model, preferred the concept they displayed last time. This one looks kinda bloated, like they used the inflate tool from Gary's Mod on his torso.

Edit: Just saw him being used in the stream from your link, he looks ok ingame.. just not in the arsenal holding a smallish gun.

Not really liking it myself - but hey, as many Warframes as there are, Rhino is the only one that you could really call 'beefy'. I appreciate the need for diversity and - even though I usually don't like beefy guys - I see that there is a need for them in Warframe.

Wasn't able to watch it this time did they said anything about the Release of Umbra Excalibur and the 2 prime Weapons that came along with him in the Chinese Warframe? The one month exclusivity should be over by now.

They said in the past that while there is a 30 day minimum, that doesn't mean that it will come out imminently after that 30 days.

I'm pretty sure common logic dictates that he's refering to the skin and rework's equal timing on release, why would make sense otherwise? No offense intended of course.

Wu Kong timed exclusive for China, just to be clear: we will never have a chance to get it?

We will get it, most likely in November at some point.

Whwhoaiwhaowhaoawhoa wait what is this about the Void "blowing up"

In U18, with Starchart 2.0, the method of obtaining Prime Parts will be altered. Basically, you'll be able to run different mission types on different tilesets, and you won't have to spend all your time in The Void. Supposedly this change will be explained in the lore as well.
