Thereddic
I recently acquired the Bronco, and something immediately became apparent to me. I knew going in that the gun had 2 rounds per clip, and I figured with the two heads on top, it worked like a double barreled shotgun. When I looked at the gun itself though, I noticed some contradictory evidence. First piece of evidence is the wheel on the bottom of the gun. The wheel appears to be a Drum Magazine with 6 rounds in it. THe second piece of evidence comes from the heads themselves. At first I thought there were only two heads on the gun, but there is a third on the Drum Magazine, placed over where the 6th round would be stored. This evidence suggests the Bronco was originally intended to be a 6 round weapon. I'm not complaining about the gun itself, it looks cool and is fun to use. But I'm curious about these design issues. Is there anyone out there who knows a lot about guns that could correct me in this?
Nuntium
Well, the entire design of the gun is ridiculous. If it is a six shot weapon with a revolving or drum magazine the two upper heads have no place. If it's supposed to be a double barrel shotgun then the drum/revolver thing has no place. It's like they had no idea what thy wanted it to be when they made the model. Anyway, none of the weapons make sense anyway. None have magwells or ejection ports, yet you somehow manage to load magazines and eject shells. Tl;dr: I wouldn't worry about it Edited May 27, 2013 by Nuntium
Ghogiel
Maybe it is a 6 round drum mag Maybe it does have 3 barrels Maybe it fires 3 rounds per-shot hence why it can only fire twice before reload?
ValhaHazred
I don't mind the guns not having visible magazines, since I like the idea that they are teleporting ammo straight into their guns. But the shell casings coming out of nowhere bugs me. Why even have shell casings? I'd like to think that they'll have worked the kinks out of caseless amunition in a thousand years. Agreed, though I feel the Lex, Bratons, and possibly all Grineer weaponry should have some sort of visible magazines.
ValhaHazred
Considering the Grineer have the magical ability to never reload they probably thought it would be pointless.
PositronicSpleen
Considering the Grineer have the magical ability to never reload they probably thought it would be pointless. On the other hand they "set the hammer of" their guns more often than characters in action movies. They really mean business, okay! I'm not even sure what the Tenno are reloading weapons with. Kunai are the only weapons with actual ammo visibly being taken from somewhere. Best not to think too deeply, otherwise you'll start questioning how mods physically work. ValhaHazred
They micro-fab and teleport the ammo from subspace storage into the gun, the more complex the ammo the longer it takes. As for mods, the guns are bigger on the inside of course!

It could be that they have a really, really clunky safety that resets every few seconds due to some paranoid commander who once was shot during a drill.
