Kestrel.

 

You have not lived until you've tossed a Kestrel at an Ancient and missed, only to hit the Ancient on the return flight and ragdoll it over your head and off a cliff behind you.

My favorite under rated weapons would probably be Lato Vandal and Karyst.

 

Lato V is a mean little pistol when loaded with viral damage, and Karyst (being pure toxin) ignores shields completely.

For melees, I love the Scoliac. Mirage meat grinder making music with proc sound effects.

Stug-constant 3k without a tater or forma made me keep it

Mire-first weapon I made; even used plat on nanospores to make it since I couldn't wait to get to Saturn

Twin Gremlins-bought it...2 years later with a reg miter AND a panthera with 2 trinity sets built, the bp for them still have not dropped... So I consider a good investment

Grakata-first primary I made; saw it's potential and was correct

Nukor-I wanted to go bzzzz on everyones !

Machete Wraith-completely forgot that they were removing reg machete and lost my chance the first time around.

M.Quanta-the extra radiation bubble is very underrated, luckily I had patience on how to work with it into a beast.

Shade-(before prisma of course)

Glaive/prime-just keeping it and hopeing that it gets a buff

Sheev-nothing but slash procs for over over-kill

I regularly flip through weapons and find one I haven't maxed out and fool around with it. So, it depends on what I've got strapped to my frame. However, I generally choose weapons based on utility/fun when I'm not doing late game stuff.

There are a butt ton of weapons in warframe so many are going to be not used or underrated. For example I love the Karak/Karak Wraith mainly because of the "feel". SO. What underrated weapon do you like to use, and why?

Ehm... Is the Tonbo an underused weapon?

 

You see tons of people with Orthos P, Tipedo or Scindo P but most don't bother with the Tonbo since it's a MR2 weapon. However, it's a MR2 weapon with 85 base damage and high attack speed.

Grinlok, Akstilleto, Dark Sword, Serro, Sicarus Prime (it's pretty, I don't care), Dual Heat Swords, Attica (does it count?), Secura Dual Cestra, Venka, Ankyros Prime, Akjagara, Sybaris, Amphis.

 

Not being worried about numbers and simply whether I succeed or not, most of my weapon collection consists of either weapons I like, or stuff that came out of Events. Helps that playing Solo 95% or so of the time, nobody else is around to complain I'm not doing the expected overkill damage or the like.
