gavdl13
I dont mind contributing with a lil money for game development, because i like this game, getting a founder pack, buying void keys, etc.. but i think it is wrong what they are doing with those drop rates, is if like they dont care about the people who is showing them support as long as they make money, also the prices for platinum are a bit excesive... just saying... they should care more about the people that show them support,im not saying they should give us everything but at least deacent drop rates and prices. And i am not saying this only for the people who pay... is for everybody, maybe is they drop the prices more people will contribute and they will have a bigger profit than with this excesive prices... and with better drop rate people will be less frustrated and more motivated. at least thats my opinion... also not saying that it should be easy to find everything just a lil bit easier specially the items for prime things beacause out of 5 things that you need to make something prime for example you get like a 100 of 4 items but you dont get 1 of the 5th so you are stock. Besides that i really love this game. Edited May 28, 2013 by gavdl13
Gravalite
While yes the drop rates could be higher, the prices I'm sure will eventually come down, and it will be because enough people bought stuff (hopefully)

Fenwyn
The drop rate is fine, it's the system, IMO. You continually get the same rewards from missions despite already having them, leaving you wanting for the parts you don't have(Latron Prime reciever, etc) to complete a blueprint. The amount of platinum you get per dollar seems to max out at 22 platinum per USD. That's a ripoff, since a pack of void keys costs $3.50, a Forma costs $1, and a waepon pack like the, "What Stalker?" pack costs $20 on its own. It's a huge ripoff. It's a huge ripoff. 20 dollars for 3 weapons and 1 color pack. Through Nexon's Combat Arms, for 20 dollars you can MAYBE get 1 permanent primary weapon for that much if it's on sale. Or you could get two pistols. If you ask me, that's a steal in comparison.

Thats your opinion and i respect that, but i still think prices should go down a bit, like i said i like the game, im in favor of supporting it and maybe more people will support it if prices go down a bit... just saying... That's not an opinion, that is a direct comparison of currency and what you gain from that currency. In fact, almost all of the weapons that you can buy on Combat Arms for real money give large, distinct advantages compared to the free to play weapons, some are distinctly overpowered. With this game, almost everything is balanced and the weaponry you can gain for platinum purchase is exactly the same as things you can gain from Free to Play, and almost everything can be gained from playing, except for cosmetics. And to me, the prices seem fair, such as the Stalker Bundle. You pay for convenience, not for power. Edited May 28, 2013 by Drakontis
Moondancer
The way i see it is things are priced higher so that you dont want to buy them or that it isnt such a good deal that you would be stupid not to. They want you to actually play the game and get it naturally its been 4 days since the patch and i dont have everything that is awesome.

Yeah but on the flipside, if you've done dozens of missions since the patch and have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to show for it, that is even worse. "Yaaay another Hellfire...." "Yaaaay I TOTALLY needed that Pistol Gambit/Magazine Warp/etc". "YAAAAY I just did a Sabotage and got absolutely nothing" You got lots of mission types not rewarding anything whatsoever ('cept for what enemies in mid-mission drop), I've probably got like 20 magazine warps and 20 pistol gambits and I'm still getting the stupid things out of Raid missions, I still don't have some of the "Uber" mods people say are oh-so-awesome (and I get to enjoy not being able to solo stuff peeps make fun of me for not being able to solo because I don't have them). I go to Mars to do an Exterminate...oh yay, Stalker appears and I die. "YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SOLO HIM!" they say. Uh yeah. Yes, my Rhino is Lv30... but I had a Lv10 glaive at the time, a Lv8 Bronco and a Lv18 Paris. I'm SO totally going to solo a Lv45 Stalker. Oh yes. I'll get right on that. *rolls eyes* Meanwhile he takes my shields down in 4 seconds, I pop Iron Skin, it is gone in about 4 seconds, and I'm dead 3 seconds after that. Yup, so totally gonna solo him. Maybe if I actually HAD some of these "awesome mods", I might have had a chance. MAYBE if a Neural Sensor would actually drop I could make one of those Potatoes that I have a blueprint for, and get my Rhino 60 Mod Slots. MAYBE if I could actually get a Void Key, I MIGHT get to the Tower where I'm supposedly supposed to have a better chance at the new mods.... ........Maybe, Maybe, Maybe. It just ain't happening, though.
