Holy Sheeet! 12 Mods Drop During A Thermisto Run

Me and my friends wanted to do a T3 void when suddenly we got dragged into Thermisto. We was like: Ahh, what the heck. Let's do it anyways. 1 m into the game and Bam!. 2 mods drop. A few more mobs later and we get more mods. Golem drops a mod but no neurals( sigh). We ended up counting the mods. At the end we counted 12 mods more or less. We were all like: What kinda sorcery is this? Any opinions?

It's not sorcery. I've had mod drops way more than that in a single non-defense mission, random is random. :)

But usually we get like 3 mods average during a normal mission run. This was like WTF? RNG gods generousity or brokenness?

The RNG gods smiled upon you for that one mission. Be thankful for your blessings, lest you be cursed with 20 straight boss runs with no rare material or blueprint drops.

I've gotten 20+ mods per run on kappa.

Bear in mind that on Infested missions you are fighting a lot more guys than in Grineer and Corpus missions, thus you have that many more chances for mods.

I don't remember off hand what kind of mission it was, but I've had a couple times where I've gotten 15+ mods before, so its not unheard of. Defense missions will tend to do that frequently the higher in level you get.

I have got 26 mods in a single mission. And over 60 mods in defence mission

Consistently got 10-15 mods dropping on M-prime while ferrite farming the other day, and thats literally level 2 of the entire game. Mods dropping like crazy for me lately. Making me feel better even if none of them are new ones :D

I've got 17 mods in Kiste (Ceres) a few days ago. This is my record.

 

Sadly I didn't get any Split Chamber. :(
